135. Disfigured

Tanya's POV

"How are we going to take them down?" Dalia implored in a hush tone as we all sqauted behind a half wall some distance away from the said house we had spotted. "They are numerous."

"While there are only 6 of us," Daniel's brow narrowed as he darted his gaze between us and the number of rogues patrolling around the house. "Outside alone they are about 30 not to count inside."

"How do you say 6? We are only 5," Marie countered and I frowned in confusion

"How do you mean 5? We are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6," Dalia counted, pointing at each of us.

"Come on Dalia, you forgot that one of us is--" I flashed daggers through my eyes at Daniel once I had caught on their trail of thought. God so help me if he finished that sentence, hiding or not hiding I'd make sure I crack his head open.

"Uhh, mmh," he cleared his throat once he discerned my glare. "She's pregnant so that makes us 7."
