My gown was partly ripped so I trimmed the ending s to make it easier to run. After I saw my reflection in the glass I ran, he grabbed me again and tackled me to the ground. I grabbed a piece of glass and stabbed his arm. For few seconds he was distracted, I took this as my chance to leave. I took my bag along with one glass shard as a weapon. Soon I was in the secret passage. And that was when I ripped my gown. I waited to catch my breath. "Where are you little rabbit" I heard a voice say. Startled I looked both ways but saw no one. "I'm getting angry now, little rabbit just say where you are" I heard that same familiar voice say. It occurred to me then that he said that in my mind.
How is that even possible I thought. I ran down the halls. Right when I was about to get to the guards protecting the front of the castle a hand grabbed me from out of nowhere. I was thrown roughly on the ground and the king put his hands over my mouth. He looked within in my eyes for a moment and I saw his eyes go back to midnight blue. Darkness engulfed us. Today was really not my day. "The room is spinning" I said out loud as my eyes fluttered a bit. "What's happening, what are you doing to me" I asked in alarm. " enjoy your nap Athalar and remember you are MINE now" everything went black.
A splitting headache. My eyes were still closed but I could tell I was somewhere dark. Through the pain from the headache I opened my eyes. Where am I I thought. The place was musty and stale, it was loathsome, gloomy and looked ancient. I could not remember anything except for walking to the garden. My stomach grumbled. I stood up with my legs a little wobbly and walked towards the little light I saw. I saw bars blocking the exit. I was in a dungeon. I saw the light coming closer and closer.
I saw a man coming nearer. "Good morning sweetheart " I heard him say. When the light reached his face I remembered everything that happened that day. I growled at him,it sounded like something feral. "Let me out of here" I said.
"Not a chance sweetheart. I have got news for you and questions too"
