Drüin, the Allfather, and God of Might was stomped. He was standing in the area where he planned to have the new Stadium built specifically for the War Games. King Etri himself would be arriving to explain to him what all could be put there. In one hand he held Aegor, in the other he held the Sword of Asgard. Though despite having these two mighty weapons in hand, he was still puzzled. Not of what he was planning to build, but over what was happening between Hela, Kelda, and Barda. He wasn't exactly sure as to how he should react to this, he wasn't looking for more than one woman in marriage. Hela may be fighting to be allowed to leave, but after that declaration from before he now knew that she had feelings for him. In a way that goes beyond brother and sister. Unfortunately for the Goddess of Death, he didn't reciprocate those feelings. Victor Jones was no Targaryen, and he most certainly won't be one here as Drüin Odinson.

Barda would be a good catch, but she is Apokoliptian and right now Apokolips is still hated by most of the Nine Realms. She most likely wanted something specific than his hand in marriage. Kelda was....well Drüin didn't know what to think about her decision to join the War Games. She could be wishing to test herself against Hela and Barda or actually looking to take his hand in marriage. She seemed stiff after Brunhilde's passing, and now she was trying to act like the former Valkyrie leader. At that moment was when he felt a heavy hand be placed upon his shoulder. Looking back, he found Etri standing there with a raised brow. "Allfather?" The tall Dwarf called, and watched the God of Might let out a sigh.

"It is nothing, just much has been on my mind is all." Drüin dismissed, then shoved the Sword of Asgard into the ground. Almost immediately, the foundations of Asgard shook. In mere moments, the ground in front of the God of Might gave way to materialize a gargantuan stadium. Drüin was going by memory of what he wanted the War Games Arena. It was to be bigger than the one in Asgard, to show off the skills of the entirety of the Nine Realms. To unify his people in one common thing, so that they could be relied upon to work together. That was the original idea of the War Games after all, then three women had to go and make it a beating game as to who would survive the longest between them. With a growl of effort, Drüin used the Sword of Asgard to finish completing the new War Games arena. Etri and the Dwarves behind him looked on in amazement at the Allfather's ability to create.

Within moments, the Arena was completed. Standing taller and almost as high as the royal palace was the new Arena. Although at this point, it might as well be called a Colliseum. Etri and his Dwarves did not witness Drüin's creation of Alikir City, so this was their first time seeing the Allfather's ability to create. Roughly a hundred Dwarves stood behind Etri, and all of their mouths were agape.

"Etri, I believe that it is time to start decorating the Colliseum", Drüin called, "Don't you agree?"

"Y-yes Allfather..." Etri stuttered, then closed his mouth before looking to Drüin.

"Good, let us begin with the banners."

{10 Hours Later}

Drüin was in the Asgardian wilderness, something created when he expanded the realm of Asgard. He was walking down a trail through the lush forests that now surrounds the capital. He was a good distance away from the palace and deep in thought. He was mulling over what could be done about Enchantress and how he could bring his mother back. The only one who knew of this besides himself was the former Allfather, Odin. When Drüin had told his father what had happened, of course the older Asgardian was furious and in shock. Before Odin could have left to display Asgardian justice, the God of Might halted him.

Drüin had to explain to his father that they couldn't get Freyr back, and Enchantress was not the type of enemy who could he destroyed and perceived as dead. Odin while knowing this, said that his father had hidden knowledge for an enemy as menacing as Enchatress. It took time, but the older Asgardian found said knowledge and was studying it. So now, here Drüin was, arriving ar his father's "Retirement" home. The two were plotting and preparing to rescue Freyr, and they were about to use whatever at their disposal to do it.

The God of Might stood before a 3 story tall house that was decorated with Aesir runes and Vanir sigils. He stepped up to the door, and knocked on it thrice. Drüin waited for his father to answer, then heard footsteps approaching the door. When it was opened, he found his father dressed slightly more comfortably. The older Asgardian still had his trusty spear, Gungnir in hand, his boots and bracers, and a stoic look about him. When he and Drüin locked eyes, a smug smile came over became plastered on Odin's face. "I have found it son, the ancient power that my father and your Grandfather discovered." Odin stated, causing a smug grin to appear on Drüin's face as well.

"Then what are we waiting for, let us see what Grandfather kept in his arsenal." The God of Might commented.

Odin stepped back for Drüin to step inside, he had placed the Sword of Asgard back in the Vault for safekeeping. Now he only had Aegor in hand, and began walking forth. His gaze remained forward for a moment before glancing around. His golden irises landed on a few objects, some of which had at one point been in Asgard's Vault, others were trinkets that the former Allfather kept to himself. When Odin had closed the door to the house, he walked up a flight of stairs to the second and third floors. Drüin followed after his father, his gaze becoming serious now. The two were working to find a way to save Freyr, and believed that Bor may have had knowledge of ancient magic. As the two walked up the stairs, they came across the only room on the third floor. It was a door that had been left ajar. When they approached it, Odin pushed it open to reveal a large room. Many books and artifacts were littered across the floor and walls. There was only one window in the room that illuminated it. A single Queen sized bed was near the window, as well as a comatose and soulless Freyr beneath the sheets.

Drüin stopped himself from frowning at what he saw, he hated seeing his mother like this. He had seen her looking a made woman for centuries, now she looked as if she were dead. As he and Odin walked into the room, Odin retrieved an ancient looking book. On it were ancient Aesir runes, runes unlike anything that had been seen before.

"My father and your Grandfather had at one point gone on a journey", Odin began to say, "A journey that lasted for roughly 1,000 years. When he had returned, he was far different than he normally was. He had become far wiser, powerful, and even omniscient. He had warned me that the power that he obtained could be used for great things, as well as terrible deeds. So to make sure that no one, not even me would be able to use the knowledge that he obtained on his journey. My father sealed everything that he wrote down into this very book in language that only he would understand. I have found it of course, but it seems that he added another detail without telling me."

After saying this, Odin gestured for Drüin yo read it. The God of Might looked down into the book and tried to read it but found himself unable to do it. His Allspeak wasn't working, it was as if the words were trying to decipher themselves as he tried to say what was inside. Drüin looked to Odin and noticed that the former Allfather was giving him an expectant look. "We cannot read from it...there is a powerful enchantment upon it." Drüin deduced and watched his father nod.

"Indeed, my father did not trust anyone with the knowledge that he had. So it would seem that this will require more than any normal Asgardian magics."

The God of Might stared at Odin for a moment, then his eyes widened as he soon realized what the former Allfather was proposing. "You want to go to the Well...don't you?" Drüin questioned.

Odin closed the book, then let out a sigh as he looked to the unmoving form of Freyr. "In order to obtain something, one must give up something of equal value to the Well", Odin stated, "That is the saying at least, and I am willing to sacrifice anything to have her back. I ignored your pleas to aid her for too long, ignored her plight believing that she had lost her mind. I will not leave her in the hands of a deceitful witch! If I must sacrifice my eyes, tongue, or even my heart, then I will do so knowing that I did not abandon her in her hour of need!"

The God of Might stared at the former Allfather for a few long moments. He was somewhat surprised at how far that the man had come from that arrogant, ignorant, and stubborn so called father. Now he had changed to where he was better than what he was in the movies. Similar to what he was like in Thor Ragnarok. A small smile came to Drüin's lips, then placed a hand on his father's shoulder before slowly nodding at him. "Then we will sacrifice together, I cannot allow my own father to do something dangerous and stupid alone." The God of Might agreed.

"You are the Allfather, you cannot be away from Asgard for too long."

"Are you saying that now after how long you have been conquering?"

"That was much different boy, I was younger."

Drüin raised a brow then looked the older Asgardian up and down before smirking. "To me you do not look any different than you were centuries ago." Drüin mocked.

The two stayed silent for a moment, then began to share a laugh together. Something that neither one had done with each other, until now at least. When their laughter's stopped, both began to grow serious expressions. Both knew what they were about to do, they were going to obtain knowledge from the Well. To do this they must be willing to sacrifice something. Odin knew what he was willing to sacrifice, so did Drüin despite it being something that he held dear to him.

{Asgard Royal Palace, Hela}

Hela was excited, well not as much as she thought that she would be. She was going to face Barda, and Kelda in a competition. Not only that, but she was going to get a prize if she won. That said, she wad worried, not of if she would win or not but of her twin brother Drüin. Ever since she had stabbed him, she had come to realize for how long he had been by her side. Not once had she thanked him for protecting her, for watching over her. Not once had she apologized for anything that she did to him, even when she beat him relentlessly by orders of her father. Compared to him, she was the most ruthless Asgardian in Asgard's history. Many of their people fear her more than they respect her. She knew that she couldn't lead her people, she didn't have their love or respect.

Hela was standing in the throneroom, staring up at the throne itself. Her grandfather Bor sat upon this and lead Asgard into a Golden Age. Her father sat on this throne and lead Asgard into wars that couldn't be counted easily. Now her brother sits upon it, and his rule already differs from both Bor's and Odin's. Neither one would think to unite the Realms, neither one would have had Asgard opened to the other Nine Realms. For a time, Hela was unsure of Drüin's actions and believed that it wad better to put their foot down. Then remembered that it was for that very reason that she was not loved by anyone but her brother. What she felt for him was love, love to protect, to watch over, to keep safe. He never did abandon her, while she did so whenever she so chose. Now she was going to return the favor for as long as he ruled. Of course she was aware of her baby brother's Thor and Baldur. But she was looking out for the one that she knew most.

"Princess Hela?" Called Kelda as she walked into the throneroom. She was still wearing her Valkyrie armor, the armor gleaming under the illuminated room. The Goddess of Death slowly turned and looked at Kelda with an appraising eye. She looked the Vanir up and down once or twice, taking in her features. The Vanir Asgardian was a beauty, one of the most beautiful women that Asgard had to offer. She somehow caught the eye of her brother, and Hela didn't like that. Though she was aware that her brother did not see her the way that she saw him.

"Kelda, just the Asgardian I wished to see", Hela replied, "I'm curious, what is it that you wish to have that my brother can offer you? You are the leader of Asgard's most fiercest and greatest warriors. As well as sit at my brother's right hand while I his left hand. What more could he offer you than the position that you currently have?"

Kelda narrowed her eyes on Hela, then thinned her lips. She averted her eyes for a moment, as if thinking about if she should speak about this or not. When she looked back at Hela, she began to frown as she spoke. "Is this...an order Princess Hela?" Kelda inquired respectfully.

"No, it is a simple question."

"I see...", Kelda uttered then looked to the throne of Asgard, "Allfather-"

"You may call him by his name, there is no one here to correct you."

"Very well. Drüin Odinson is the very reason that I am a Valkyrie, that I stand here today, that I can even be called a warrior. When I first started my training as a Valkyrie, I failed all of my tests. I was not as strong as you Aesir, not as battle ready as you, not even as ruthless as you all are. I was the only Vanir to even try and join the Valkyries, and despite my will to achieve the impossible...I was deemed a failure and waste of time. That very night as I readied myself to return to Vanaheim, Lady Brunhilde approached me and took me under her wing as her apprentice."

"I know of this, she had spoken of a student who would one day replace her." Hela added.

"She did not speak of that until much later. She nurtured me and perfected my craft. Instead of treating me like hindrance like the other Valkyries did, she had me train differently. Even allowed me to use my magics in order to find my preferred fighting style. When she deemed me ready, she had me pitted against the most capable Valkyrie of my generation. I bested said Valkyrie with the skills that I learned under Brunhilde. When I later inquired as to why she chose me out of all the others, her response was simple but powerful. Her words were the following, a certain prince believed that those who fail are subject to achieve something greater than others. If one does not fail then they do not understand the meaning of change. Failure is a teacher in its' own right, and all could learn from it if they are given the time to. Drüin Odinson was the one who spoke these words to Brunhilde Princess Hela. The same one who ensured our rise, our survival, and our very dignity. If I was given the option to ask of him of anything that he could give unto me, it would be to allow me to remain by his side. To be his sword, to be the blade that he needs drawn. To repay him for all that he has done whether he wad aware of it or not."

"Do you...love him?" Hela inquired, ignoring quite a bit of what Kelda said. Then watched as Kelda's face grow a tint of red on her cheeks.

"Well, I do admire him but I am a Valkyrie-"

"That does not stop you from having feelings Kelda, answer the question."

"I...I do love him but not in the sense that I wish to take his attention away from being Allfather."

Hela's stared at Kelda, eyeballing the Vanir Valkyrie as if processing that question. Then began to realize that either Kelda was a liar or she was actually a trustworthy woman. She felt as if she were too worried about the wrong person. Barda was someone she should have been more concerned with, after all she was a New God. The Goddess of Death couldn't help but laugh, laugh at the plight that she was in. Kelda was an Asgardian who could be trusted, someone that her brother fancy's yet she isn't aware of it. Hela watched as Kelda stared at her weirdly, as if the Goddess of Death's laughing was making her shiver. When she finished laughing, Hela wiped a stray tear that came down her cheek.

"By Odins' ass woman, you are the most blind Asgardian that I have ever met besides my brother." Hela said with mockery.

"P-Pardon?" Kelda stuttered, not sure why she was being mocked.

"My brother fancy's you, you idiot! He has just been too shy about making any moves upon you! I had thought that you wished to use him to advance your standing in society yet you just want to be at his side for eternity?! By the Nine Realms I can't believe that I even saw you as a rival?"

"Rival?"

"Forget it, I will only say this to you. If you ever have feelings for my brother...them you will have to get through me. Not just any woman can take my brother's hand. That said, if you begin growing more affectionate to him it is better to be as straightforward towards him as possible. He does not understand us women."

Kelda's mouth wad agape, listening and watching as Hela began walking past her. She seemed to be processing what the Goddess of Death had told her. When hela passed the stunned Valkyrie, she walked out of the throneroom. Now the Goddess of Death was in search of Barda, for Kelda was not a real rival. The Vanir was too oblivious to know that Drüin had fancied her. That said, Barda was the enigma here. The Apokoliptian was either a rival or plotting something. Hela didn't know where Barda fit into in that category, but she was going to find out now, or during the War Games.

'I will be damned before I let anyone be with my brother...Barda you had best hope that your intentions are pure.' Hela thought with dark glee.
