Chapter 62 - Teasing

"There is no need to do so, everyone, our master will be coming soon, please wait for a moment." The black-robed man said blandly, with no intention of making a move at all.

Several of the spell casters were still in awe and suspicion.

The next moment, a sudden boom came from the distance.

Several spellcasters as well as the black-robed man raised their eyes to look.

The expressions on the faces of all the spell casters one by one turned directly to one of horror!

They grew their mouths and let out a roar of utter horror: the

"Dragons !!!! It's a dragon! Damn it! We've been tricked! Those bastards! They've wanted us dead from the start! Run!!!"

Before the words were out of their mouths, several of the spellcasters turned and ran wildly, at a speed that did not resemble a mage who had travelled long distances and was known for his wisdom! Instead, they looked like a group of energetic warriors!

You could tell that they were fighting for their lives!

"Ho!!! Dearly beloved spellcasters! Why do you look so frightened at the sight of your employer?"

A roar as loud as a bell rang out as a huge figure swept past from hundreds of metres away, fanning his huge dragon wings as he approached from afar!

The ground swelled with the fierce wind as the wings stirred.

The black shadow swept quickly past several spellcasters, and the wind pressure alone from the fall of the inciting dragon wings blew all of them down.

BOOM!!!

The earth shook gently as a huge thing descended, a terrifying dragon ten metres long with wings spread almost thirty metres!

Red as lava, its flickering eyes gazed at the few fallen spellcasters with a slight teasing look.

"How ... how did this happen ... why is there really a giant dragon here? Isn't that all just tavern rumors?"

One spellcaster shuddered under the gargoyle's gaze.

Another caster turned his angry gaze on the black robed figure not far away roaring.

"You bloody bastards! How dare you conspire against us! You are a disgrace to humanity! You are the dogs of the dragon! We will not spare you even as ghosts!"

"Humans? I'm sorry, but we are not."

The black-robed figures lifted their tight hoods to reveal their true appearance, which was that of hideous half-orcs with green skin and bare fangs!

"Damn! So it's a half-orc mongrel! The rumours in the tavern earlier were all true ..."

The group of spellcasters' breath hitched and their hearts thudded.

"Don't panic! Don't panic! Calm down!" One of the spellcasters mumbled, forcing himself to calm down, then raised his head with difficulty and said to the gargoyle in front of him.

"What exactly do you ... want this group of Orcs to do when you have them bring us here?

If it was simply to be used as rations, there was no need for a spellcaster, was there?

I've never heard rumors of spellcasters having better meat than ordinary people! To eat it, Lord Gargoyle should also prefer the young females."

He had an excellent point, and a few other spellcasters in the vicinity came to their senses; perhaps they had thought worse of it?

They moreover didn't have to die?

"Oh! Sorry! I actually prefer spellcasters to the females, I always feel like there is magic in every inch of you that enchants dragons."

So said the dragon in return.

Several of the spellcasters shuddered wildly and roared for their lives.

And indeed they did!

From their respective arms, they all pulled out some strange and exotic materials.

These were all magical materials, and when they worked with them to cast spells, the greatness would be even more powerful than normal spells!

One by one, a cloud of magical missiles, ice spikes, acid, the power was raised by at least half a notch.

They all flew towards the dragon.

But the dragon didn't dodge, it stretched out its forelimbs and poked out a dragon claw, one by one, flicking the sharp tips of its claws at these spells.

Poof, poof, poof~

With several consecutive sounds, the spells all collapsed like balloons, dissipating into pure elements.

Several of the spell casters' faces changed greatly.

"How ... could this happen? Are our spells something so unbearable?"

"Hmm? Oh? That's too much to bear? That's a bit boring, never mind not teasing you little buggers.

Let's get back to business, I actually have no interest at all in the meat of you older men.

This time, I really want you to help me research improved spells."

The giant dragon's eyes changed from their previous banter and got serious.

"This ... mission this time is actually true? Then ...100 Gentar is also real?"

Several spell casters couldn't help but ask boldly when they heard the giant dragon's words.

Could it be that all the fantasies from before were going to become reality?

"Of course, as long as you can satisfy me, 100 gold tal is not a matter of concern, treating outstanding talents, this dragon is always generous."

The dragon grinned and actually became slightly friendly in the eyes of the spell caster.

"Good! It's a deal!" Several spellcasters secretly clenched their fists, delighted.

...........

Not to talk about Rand's side.

After being severely injured by Rand, the silver dragon dived underground and escaped for several kilometres, after which it rested underground for several days before recovering a lot of energy and strength and returning to the town where it had previously agreed with the two noble maidens.

As soon as they saw the weakened Silver Dragon, the two noble maidens were shocked.

Although they had been somewhat aware of what might happen when the Silver Dragon had told them to run away, Vyse was still in disbelief when it was all presented to them.

The Silver Dragon's best sister, who had previously vowed and promised to apprehend the dragon, had actually lost to an evil dragon that looked nowhere near as big as she was?

Was that dragon too strong?

Or was the good sister in front of her too weak?

She sulked, not saying a word.

Her heart was in turmoil; if the Silver Dragon sisters could not deal with that evil dragon, what could she, the daughter of a small baron of a border town, do?

Pull the entire army out of the town to deal with the dragon?

Before she saw the two dragons fight, she might have done so in the heat of the moment, but after watching it, it was clear to her that it was pointless!

Those soldiers, who were at most level 6-7 and were actually ordinary people, were nothing more than a bunch of ants that would kill and kill in front of the dragon, even if they were in the hundreds or thousands!

They couldn't do any damage to the dragon at all.

Should we spend money to hire some high-class adventurers? But just how strong an adventurer would it take to kill that dragon?

And how much would it cost in Gentar?

Could they, the Ackermans, come up with that much Gentar?

Ashley watched her best friend's changing face from the side and instantly reassured her by saying.

"Vyse, don't think too much, that evil dragon may be powerful, but I don't think Emile is completely without a way to deal with it, is she? Emile?"

"I'm sorry to make you laugh, but I swore I would defeat that dragon before I went there, but I ended up in such a mess.

But even though I lost to him this time, it's not that I don't have a way to deal with that evil dragon.

Wait a little longer, Vyse, after I have recovered from my injuries for six months, I will find my best friend and go together to crush that evil dragon, and he will be defeated then!

I won't give him any more chances!"

The silver dragon took a deep breath and revealed a hint of determination.

She knew everything about the events leading up to Vyse's father's invasion of the mines.

Perhaps what Vyse's father had done was not right, but the fact that the evil dragon named Rand had directly killed a dozen people and even devoured an intelligent creature like a dark elf was still a bit hard for the silver dragon to accept.

As a dragon, she was no saint either.

If it was just someone she didn't know, she might not have pestered that evil dragon.

But Vyse was one of her human friends, one of the few human friends she had.

This would make the silver dragon unconsciously show some favouritism towards it.

Not to mention the fact that it was a five-coloured dragon who did such a thing.

Although killing each other was mostly forbidden among the dragons, there were too many cases of imprisoning each other and robbing each other of their treasures.

As long as no lives were involved, it was an acceptable outcome for the two dragon gods at the top.

The noble maiden, Vyse, took a deep breath and bit her lower lip as she nodded her head gently.

Emile had said so, what could she, an ordinary noble maiden, say? Should she go up and give the evil dragon a better meal herself?
