Chapter 64 - I'm not a demon after all

"Hmphhhh! Looks like you've given up! What a bunch of incompetent scumbags!

Want to go back, do you? Don't worry, I'm not a demon after all, so I'll do what I say.

If you want to go back, I won't stop you.

After all, everyone who is away will always miss their homeland."

Rand murmured, his words instead sounding flat.

A few of the spell casters came to their senses, each with a pleased look on their faces, not noticing the strange look on the dragon's face.

It was not until the next words came out of the dragon's mouth that several of the spellcasters were struck by lightning and froze in place, motionless.

"My slaves! Come here!

Cut off the loins, kidneys, hearts and other valuable things of these spellcasters for me!"

"Yes! My master!"

A few Orcs on one side smiled hideously at the words and immediately pulled out their own wolfsbane and axes and surrounded them.

The spellcasters were terrified, their livers splitting and their bodies trembling wildly as they hurriedly said.

"No! Lord Chiron! What are you doing? Didn't you say you were going to let us go? You can't keep your word!"

"Indeed, you are being released! Back home! You don't have to be alive to go back, and you don't have to have all your body parts, do you?

I'll let you return with your loins, your kidneys and your hearts, so that you can become useful treasures!

What's not to like about earning me gintar and helping some black alchemists and spell casters experiment? Don't you think so?

Maybe later on those black alchemists, make some medicine that can benefit you humans, and you'll be considered to have done the right thing!

What do you call this? This is called turning waste into treasure!

The dragon's voice was like a devil's whisper, echoing in the ears of several of the spellcasters, making them tremble!

One who had the guts to laugh, simply pissed his trousers!

A stench of urine was particularly pungent under the baking of the rolling breath.

But how could the other spellcasters be in the mood to notice that at this point!

After all, I, Rand Sapphius Oakburn, am no demon either ...

The phrase echoed within the minds of several of the spellcasters.

This evil dragon! It's simply more demonic than a demon! It was a demonic dragon!

Several of the spellcasters realized this and nearly pissed their trousers in fear! Hastily, they shouted.

"Wait! Wait! Lord Dragon! We were just joking! You must not take it seriously!

We will certainly continue to work on modifying the spell for you! Please give us a few more days of grace!"

"Oh? You have the will to fight again? But you are not very good! To be honest, I find it hard to continue to trust you, so forget it and go back to your homeland."

The dragon shook its head, looking very reasonable.

"No! No! Have mercy! Lord Chiron! We admit our talents are limited!

But there is nothing that can be done about it! You had those Orcs sneaking around and abducting spellcasters from small towns, so how could you possibly find any good ones?

Who would want to go to those shitty places if we didn't really have to make a living!

Lord Dragon! I know a place where you can surely find the right caster for your task!"

A caster knelt down and cried out.

By this time an Orc had leaned over, even more intimidating.

"Wait!"

Rand stopped several Orcs and asked.

"I'll trust you guys one more time then, tell me, what is that place?"

"Grim City! There must be talent there that you need!"

.......

Another week later.

Kingdom of Hazen

Earldom of Grimm.

Greene City.

A bustling city with a population of over 100,000.

Stone houses are everywhere, even two-storey buildings.

In the streets and alleys, people come and go, and they are all dressed and groomed well, many of the common people even wear leather.

The standard of living seemed to be extremely good.

But this is not the most striking thing.

Apart from the humans who were everywhere, there were also quite a few dwarves, gnomes, elves, lizardmen, half-orcs and so on.

Probably among every 20 or 30 people, you can see an outsider of another race among them.

It was a city that was prosperous enough to attract foreigners.

Gew Broken Skull walked among them with a few Orcs and did not attract much attention.

They approached a random member of the same race and asked.

"Brother! Do you know where the magic academy is in this city?"

"The Academy of Magic?"

The Orc who was asked froze, looked the group of Orcs up and down, and then said enthusiastically.

"Hey! Brother, is this you wanting to form an adventuring group? Want to recruit spellcasters?

It's true that there are a lot of spellcasters there, but they're all too proud and have their noses in their heads, which is disgusting.

They're just a bunch of hothouse flowers, idiots who haven't seen the world yet!

If you have time for them, you might as well go to the adventurers' union! There are spellcasters there as well, and they're a lot nicer to talk to than the flowers at the Magic Academy in order to make a living."

"Thank you brother, but we'll have to make a trip to the Magic Academy first, and only after that will we go to the Adventurers' Union."

"All right! I'll wish you a good trip then, brother! "

The half-orc goaded his shoulders, pointed the way and then left after rubbing his pectoral muscles against each other with Gew Shattered Skull.

A few Orcs later headed directly towards the Academy of Magic.

The Academy of Magic.

It is said to be an academy, but it is not actually set up as a college, instead it is within a magic tower.

The tower was a hundred metres high and at least twenty to thirty metres wide, with a turquoise blue body, inscribed with some profound runes, with magical light flickering from time to time.

At the entrance of the ground floor, men and women in blue robes came and went, arrogant and smiling with contempt when they saw a few Orcs.

The Orcs didn't care about this, they went straight to enter the magic tower, only for two guards to block the door at once, shouting.

"Stop! This is a magic tower where only noble spellcasters can enter and leave! What are you Orcs trying to do? Do you want to desecrate the sacred place of the spellcasters?"

"You ... won't let us in? Then we won't be able to complete our master's task? How can that be ..."

One Orc's gaze turned dangerous for a moment, unconsciously reaching for the axe on his back.

The two guards looked tense for a moment.

It was part of the spell casters who couldn't help but cast their eyes over.

Did these brainless Orcs want to use force here? In that case, they could guarantee that the Orcs would be blown to bits by the torrent of the elements!

But an old Orc shaman immediately held the Orc's hand down.

"Don't be impulsive, don't forget what our master called us here for! It doesn't matter if we get in or not, we just have to do what we need to do properly."

The half-orc smiled and only then did he stop.
