Chapter 1

"There's a student who was caught in a relationship!!!"

A scream echoed down the halls of the school. Seen a girl with curly hair who was holding her breath after running from the cafeteria to tell what she saw. His face was deathly pale with furrowed brows, a feeling of dread and worry overcame him.

All the students who were in the corridor were suddenly hysterical and excited. How come? The school where they study does not allow their students to date. In fact, the study building and dormitory for male and female students are separate, only connected by a hallway near the cafeteria and the ceremonial grounds.

"Are you sure?" another student said. "Don't let you spread fake news!"

"I'm very sure! I even saw it with my own eyes," objected the curly-haired student earlier. He snorted in annoyance as he glared at the student who doubted him.

"Wouldn't students who date get punished?" said another student while covering her mouth with one hand.

"Not only punishment! They are also threatened with expulsion from school for violating the main rules of this school."

"Huh, seriously?"

"Yes, yes! Have you forgotten the reason this school separates girls and boys?"

"So, because of that?"

"What else is it for?!"

Chatter and whispers of gossip began to fill all corners of the school, making the atmosphere hotter there. In fact, there are some students who bet on what punishment will be received by the two students who are caught red-handed.

In addition to the teachers and student council presidents, the school also has a Disciplinary Committee which usually catches students breaking the rules. They are also in charge of monitoring the suspicious movements of each student. So don't be surprised, if you break the rules once, you will be quickly caught red-handed.

"Announcement... Call for Alice Stacey, requested to come to the meeting room immediately."

The sound of an announcement over the intercom broke the ongoing furore. A few seconds later, no sound was heard other than the sound of hurried footsteps coming from one student, Alice Stacey. The students simultaneously rushed to the meeting room, following Alice who was already walking in front of them.

A sigh escaped Alice's lips when she realized she was caught in the midst of the excitement of the students at her school. The pretty girl with long black hair with bangs exhaled once more, before finally stopping her steps.

Walking in the midst of the excitement and noise of the students who were filled with curiosity honestly made Alice a little disturbed. The girl needed a little quiet to be able to concentrate.

The girl turned around. His double-folded eyes blinked a few times. "If you still want to come see what's going on, be calm. Don't make a fuss with your voices," Alice said firmly, wanting no rebuttal. "If you're still noisy, you'd better go back to your respective classes."

The students who had been chattering excitedly suddenly locked their lips tightly. Some students choose to go to class, others stay because curiosity has gnawed at their souls and asks them to immediately find answers to their curiosity.

It's not wrong if Alice is elected as the student council president at school. Because besides being liked by many students, his firmness and ability to control the situation are two supporting factors that make him worthy to lead the students.

After the conditions were deemed conducive enough, Alice stepped back into the meeting room, followed by the other students. Her hair, which she tied pony-tail, moved left and right in sync with her footsteps.

"Aliceeeeeee!" The shrill, shrill voice made Alice walk quickly towards a girl who was running towards her. "Help me," he coaxed. The girl named Juliet immediately hugged Alice tightly, hiding her face in Alice's recess. Fear was evident on his face.

"I don't want to be expelled from this school," he said again. Now, tears started to come out of the corners of his eyes that were already reddened. Juliet tightened her arms, as if danger would come to her if she let go. "Please help me," she whispered, almost a whisper.

"So, the girl who was caught dating was you?" Alice asked, her brows furrowing faintly. He still couldn't believe that his best friend was the mastermind behind the current commotion. Anxiety immediately overtook her, but Alice remained as calm as possible. "Serious?"

"Help me, Alice. Please," said Juliet without answering Alice's question. "Only you can help me so I don't get kicked out of this school."

In this school, the role and influence of the student council president is equal to that of a teacher. The initial goal is to foster a sense of independence and leadership spirit. However, if this was the case, Alice wasn't even sure if her leadership could help free Juliet from the punishment that awaited the girl.

"You know very well the rules in this school but you still break them, Tweety!" Alice grumbled. "Looks like you deserve to be punished," he said exasperatedly. It was true that Juliet was her friend. However, rules are rules.

Juliet shook her head. The girl let go of her arms and then folded her arms in front of her chest; beg. "I don't want to be expelled from this school, Alice," he said again, between sobs that grew louder.

The eyes agree that the honey now looks sad. He repeatedly tried to persuade Alice to help him get out of the trouble he had caused himself. "Please," he said again.

When she saw Juliet cry like this, Alice couldn't bear it.haired girl pony-tail exhaled roughly, then massaged her temples to relieve her anger that was already on the top of her head.

"I don't promise if I can get you off the hook," he said. Alice paused for a moment before saying again, "but I will try my best not to expel you from this school."

"Aaah! Thank you, Alice!" Juliet shrieked as she rushed into Alice's arms. "You are my best friend!"

Alice smiled gently. "Remember, I'll try, but I can't promise you'll go unpunished," Alice explained, emphasizing each sentence. Although his influence as the student council president was quite large, he did not guarantee one hundred percent that Juliet would be free after her fatal mistake.

Juliet nodded her head with a faint smile on her face. She wiped her tears. Honestly, he was embarrassed to have to cry in front of so many people like this. But, what can you do? That's all he can do.

Slowly but surely, the tightness that pierced the pit of his heart began to fade. They walked back to the meeting room. Every now and then Alice would say helpful words to give Juliet peace of mind. Although fear still gripped Juliet, the dark brown-eyed girl began to feel safe and at ease. At least Alice would help him, right?

In the meeting room, Arthur was sitting with his legs crossed. His fingers tapped the side of the armchair he was sitting on. Iris eyes stared blankly at the person who was kneeling in front of her while bowing her head in guilt.

The charming dimpled boy who is none other than the student council president, the boy is a top student at the school with academic and non-academic achievements attached to him. In addition, the man who always neatly arranges his black hair is also an idol who has many subordinates at the boys' school.

"What's on your mind right now?" Arthur asked furiously. "You know very well, don't you, that students are prohibited from dating in this school?"

The man kneeling in front of Arthur looked up, then grimaced, revealing a neat row of teeth. "Duh, it's also called love, Boss! I can't just hold it in."

Arthur huffed in annoyance. The man's gaze was still as sharp as an ice blade ready to stab anyone who caused trouble around him. Romeo—the man who was caught in the act of dating—is made goosebumps because of it. Romeo swallowed his saliva. Even though Arthur was a person that people liked, he thought he could be much scarier than a monster when he was angry.

"I was wrong, I'm sorry," said Romeo, bowing his head again.

"Is it true that by apologizing this matter will be solved immediately?" Arthur pouted as he rolled his eyes. "Since when did you date him?" he asked.

Romeo scratched the back of his neck that didn't itch. A blush began to color his blushing face. "It's been a few weeks," he answered simply.

"So you guys have been secretly dating that long?"

Romeo nodded. "Precisely."

"Unlucky!" cursed Arthur, furious. "Don't you really think that what you're doing right now could get you kicked out of this school?"

Romeo's face which was originally a grin turned serious in no time. He slapped his forehead hard. A second later, he held Arthur's leg as he persuaded Arthur to help him not to be expelled from school.

"If the teachers find out about this...."

"Arthur, please don't let me be expelled from school," Romeo pleaded.

Before Arthur could answer, the door to the room suddenly opened as two girls—Alice and Juliet—stepped into the meeting room. Arthur suddenly stood up from his seat and greeted the arrival of the two girls with a professional smile while Romeo was still silent in his kneeling position.

Noticing the curious gazes of the students looking at the door, Arthur was forced to close the door tightly so that no one would interfere with the serious discussion that was about to take place between those in the room.

Juliet inched into Romeo's arms. The two of them knelt down in each other's arms, making Arthur and Alice sick of themselves seeing it. The two of them then looked at Arthur and Alice with pitiful eyes, as if to convince the two not to expel them from school even though what they did could damage the school's image.

"Is this the age of Romeo and Juliet?" Arthur quipped in annoyance. Especially when he saw the faces of the two creatures that did not imply guilt at all, he felt like he really wanted to throw up.

"But, my name is Romeo, Boss!" Romeo replied with his crisp chuckle.

"My name also happens to be Juliet hihihi," said Juliet, blinking her long eyes a few times, then covering her mouth with one hand. "Oops!"
