Chapter 8

That evening, at exactly seven o'clock in the evening, Romeo and Arthur were relaxing in their dorm room. From the first day they entered the school, they immediately became roommates to this day. No wonder their friendship became very close and close considering the many ridiculous things they had been through together.

Not as usual where Romeo always spends time playing on his cellphone to communicate with Juliet. Tonight he looks grouchy and sullen because he can't reach Juliet. This was all because Edward had confiscated his cell phone, the only tool that could help him interact with Juliet because they were forbidden to meet.

"Because you sacrificed me I had to sweep and mop the ceremonial grounds for hours and now I can't chat with my Juliet," Romeo whined. He tugged at the hem of Arthur's shirt with a pitiful face. "You have to take responsibility and help me to meet him!"

Arthur furrowed his brow. "How to?"

Romeo snapped his fingers. "Let's sneak out of the dorm and go to the girls' school!"

"Are you crazy?!" Arthur grumbled. "Security at this school is getting stricter after you were caught dating Juliet. If you are caught sneaking, you might be immediately expelled from this school."

"Oh come on! Help me, Arthur!" Romeo pursed his lips. As much as possible he showed his sad face so that Arthur melted and wanted to help him.

Instead of yielding, Arthur shuddered in horror as he pulled his body away from Romeo a little.

"Remember, Arthur. All of this happened because of you."

Arthur glared disapprovingly. "So you blame me?"

Hearing the question, Romeo snorted. To him, it was a rhetorical question that did not require an answer from him because Arthur knew very well the answer to his question.

"Who knows you might meet Alice," said Romeo.

Arthur looked contemplative. That's right, really, if it was possible he could meet Alice. However, the probability of that happening is only ten out of one hundred percent. The chances of them not meeting were much greater than the chances that they would.

"They're roommates," Romeo said once again to convince Arthur that the man would help him slip.

After thinking for a while, Arthur finally nodded in agreement. No, he didn't because he wanted to meet Alice. More accurately, he did it out of guilt after what he did to Romeo this afternoon.

"All right, all right. I'll help you."

A smile slowly crept on Romeo's lips. The man immediately hugged Arthur saying, "Thank you, Boss! You are indeed my hero."

Arthur immediately let go of Romeo's arms roughly while shuddering in horror. He felt amused if he had to accept a hug from a friend of the same sex. Ah, let alone the same sex, if a woman suddenly hugged her she would also feel uncomfortable. He had never done anything like it before.

"But, on one condition...."

"What are the conditions?"

"Stop whining like a baby in front of me!" Arthur said firmly.

Romeo scratched the back of his neck that didn't itch while chuckling softly. He grimaced, it's true that lately his attitude has always been childish. Especially when it comes to something related to Juliet.

What can we do about it? Love sometimes makes a person unable to think clearly.

Ever since after school, Juliet has been putting on a worried face constantly, moving restlessly here and there. The girl stares straight at her phone, waiting for every notification that comes in, and hopes that her crush will contact her soon.

However, as if fate didn't approve of him, until this moment Romeo still hasn't contacted him. In fact, the girl had sent hundreds of text messages, made dozens of calls, and sent countless voice messages. However, as if ignoring him, Romeo gave no response. In fact, the man still hasn't read the text message.

"What exactly is he doing now?" Juliet asked herself. Because Romeo doesn't usually act like this. The man always gave him the news. Even when the man was busy, he still gave him news.

Alice, who had been watching Juliet's behavior, frowned. The girl closed the book containing the material for the test the day after tomorrow, then looked at Juliet with a raised eyebrow.

"He still has no news?" he asked, concerned. If you only saw the expression on Juliet's face, Alice already knew the answer. However, he wanted to make a small conversation that might calm Juliet's heart a little.

Juliet shook her head. "Not yet. I'm afraid something bad happened to him."

Alice chuckled softly. "Don't be silly, Juliet. If anything bad happened at this school, the teachers would have announced it long ago. Trust me, she'll be fine."

"But I'm very worried, Alice," said Juliet as she walked over to Alice. The girl then held Alice's hands as she said, "Accompany me sneaking into the boys' school to find out about Romeo's condition."

"No," said Alice curtly.

"Come on, come with me."

Alice shook her head. "I don't want to be caught sneaking in there and breaking the rules just because Romeo hasn't texted you back yet."

"You only need to accompany me for a while. We'll just make sure Romeo is okay, after that we'll come back here," Juliet coaxed which Alice didn't respond.

Juliet was well aware that she had made a lot of mistakes recently and made Alice dizzy because of her and Romeo's actions. However, this time, he couldn't help but find out about Romeo's condition because worry kept creeping into his heart and made him restless.

"Come on, Alice." Juliet had a clear look on her face. He also did not forget to look at Alice with teary eyes to convince Alice to accompany him. "Do you really have the heart to let me go there alone on a night like this? I'm afraid if I have to go there alone, especially since I'm a woman."

Seeing Juliet's pitiful face, Alice couldn't bear it. The girl took a deep breath, then nodded. "Okay, this time I will accompany you."

Juliet cheered and smiled. A few seconds later, he then pulled Alice's hand so that the girl stood up and followed him.

"But...."

"But what?"

"If we're caught red-handed, I don't want to take the blame and you'll have to endure the punishment that awaits us alone," Alice replied. "How? Do you agree?"

Juliet smiled. "Okay, I agree," he answered without hesitation.

The two agreed to sneak through the back door of the dump. Juliet said, patrols were often carried out by school security guards in that area. However, because Juliet knew the way of mice and the ins and outs of shortcuts there, they were finally able to pass through the place without being caught by the security guard.

"Wow, looks like you know very well the ins and outs of this place. Do you sneak there often, Juliet?" Alice's lyrics are almost a whisper.

Juliet just chuckled softly as she nodded.

However, that's the reality. Since having a relationship with Romeo, he often secretly meets with his idol so that he is very familiar with the ins and outs of the place. If not, it's possible that their relationship was known to many people from the start and maybe he doesn't go to school here anymore.

The two of them crept towards the garden which was between the girls' school and the boys' school. Every now and then they would look around with watchful eyes for fear that someone might see them there. Even though it was quite dark there, they still had to be careful if they didn't want to be caught.

Actually, Alice could have asked Juliet to be a little patient and wait until tomorrow to see Romeo. Because he was sure if Romeo was in good condition. It could be that the man ran out of cell phone battery or ran out of data plan. Well, the second possibility is unlikely, considering that this school provides free wifi.

The cold night wind began to pierce the bones of the two girls. Alice hugged herself while rubbing her shoulder which was shivering from the cold. The girl is currently regretting her decision to agree to Juliet's invitation to come there when she should be able to rest while feeling the warmth of the blanket in her dorm room.

Alice and Juliet's hearts were beating rapidly when they both heard the sound of approaching footsteps. They both searched around, again they found no one around them. They both breathed a sigh of relief, then continued their steps which had been delayed for a while.

Because walking while looking sideways and forwards warily, Juliet unconsciously bumped into something hard and made her body limp for a moment. The girl held her breath and closed her eyes, imagining that what she had hit was a school security guard.

'Dead!' Juliet cursed in her mind before her body went limp. He felt like he wanted to faint on the spot if it was true that the person he accidentally bumped into was a school security guard. 'My history is finished when I find out like this,' he mumbled again.

Meanwhile, Alice covered her face with both hands, not ready to witness what was in front of her because she was sure that bad things were waiting for her and Juliet. The girl had mentally prepared for the worst that would happen to her after this, to be more precise what she and Juliet would face for breaking the rules and even sneaking in there.

Feeling the grip on her hand, Juliet then slowly opened her eyes in fear. Juliet was sure that her body would fall on the damp garden soil if the person who bumped into her hadn't caught her hand and kept her from falling.

The person not only held Juliet's body, he even pulled her into his arms. Juliet blinked for a moment, trying to process what had just happened to her.
