Chapter 6 - suspicious -

Nashi woke up today with a superb mood!

She decided that her room was too messy so got up early to clean it up. As she finished cleaning she sang a untuned hum as she went to take a bath.

Her siblings knew something was up… Nashi is usually the last one to wake up and was always in a bitter mood in the morning… it was up to them to find out what was wrong with her…

"Good morning daddy~ good morning mommy~"

*Nashi hugged natsu then kissed Lucy's cheek as she sat down for breakfast now all dressed up.*

"Wow … someone's in a great mood, where are you going today?"

*lucy asked being more curious then natsu who just nodded his head and ate his breakfast. The rest of her siblings sat at the table guessing and placing bets on what has happened.*

"Oh! nowhere special mom, I'm just going to wait for Jay and go walk-"

Nashi was interrupted by liddan who looked uninterested but was mildly annoyed.

"Yeah, she's going on a date with him.."

"Shut up Liddan!"

*Nashi barked as Lucy chuckled and natsu finally began paying attention.*

"You? Going on a date?"

*natsu asked Nashi who only blushed like how Lucy would when she was her age.*

"No dad! We are only going for a walk, I felt bad for snapping at Jay then other day when he visited me when I was home so I just want to make it up to him."

*nashi fidgeted as her siblings understood what Liddan had meant.*

Jue heard some steps approaching the house so he got up and made a mad dash to the window, he looked out and grinned like their father stupidly as he yelled out.

"Nashi~ your boyfriend is here~!"

"He's not my boyfriend!!!!"

*Nashi got up from the table as she took the last bites and picked up her plate to place them in the sink. Suddenly a knock was heard as all the Dragneel children scrambled to open the door but Nashi had jabbed Liddan in the ribs and pushed the rest as she managed to open the door.*

"Um, good morning Nashi? May I come in?"

*jay asked as he showed her two small bunches of flowers that weren't destroyed. She stepped aside as jay came in, he was wearing a white button shirt and some black pants that complemented Nashi's white loose summer dress. Jay immediately saw that natsu was sitting on the sofa watching him as he walked up to lucy and handed her one of the bouquets.*

"Good morning, Mrs. Dragneel… I came to take Nashi on a walk and I brought you and her some flowers."

*lucy gave a fake gasp as she accepted the flowers and smiled at jay.*

"Well thank you, you really shouldn't have done all this."

"No, I do need to do this as … I hope to ask you and.."

Jay turned to look at natsu as he bowed in respects to Nashi's father as he said his next sentence.

"Your permission Uncle Natsu to date Nashi when she's ready… she already rejected me once but I'm willing to wait for your daughter until she feels comfortable.."

*jay was sweating as he could feel natsu's temper boil the air but Lucy had placed her hands on his shoulder as he calmed down.*

"*sigh* … just make sure you don't hurt her… and be back before sunset understand? Now run along, she's been waiting for you since the break of dawn."

*natsu said a bit sad as jay nodded to reach out a hand to nashi but, Nashi instead came twords her father and gave him a big hug.*

"Thank you papa, I promise to be good.."

"Yeah yeah, get out of here you spoiled brat.."

*Nashi gave her father a peck on his cheek as she ran out with jay to finally go on their walk they had agreed upon.*

"Natsu? You do know he's a good boy right? He won't hurt Nashi.."

*lucy commented as natsu got up to hold Lucy's hand and looked at his wife's eyes.*

"I know luce… it's just.. she has grown up so much already.."

*natsu added as he spotted his other children watching him. He smiled a goofy grin as he threatened his other kids in a menacing way.*

"None of you are allowed to date until your Nashi's age understand??"

The kids only laughed at their father as the girls ran to him to hug him and the 2 boys stood in the background.

"Don't worry daddy, I don't promise to not like anyone until I'm super old!"

"I'm not interested in dating, I don't get why it's something so I exciting?"

"Dad don't cry, i promise to stay with you and mama till you grow old."

*the three girls, lina, leia, and luxe all promised their father as he chuckled and hugged them all with his strength.*

"And that goes for you too boys, don't think I will let you break a girls heart if you ever think of it!"

*lucy commanded her 3 boys as Liddan nodded with a small smile,while Igneel and jue just nodded twords their mother.*

"Don't worry mom, I'm not interested in anyone now so I doubt I'll date any time soon"

"I don't really care for anyone either mom…"

*Liddan and jue spoke out as Igneel just stood quiet.*

The family went back to enjoying their meal as morning turned into the afternoon.

-3 years later-

Nashi's and jays relationship grew as he had proposed to Nashi 2 years after. They got married on their 3rd year as finally Nashi moved out from her parents house to live with jay in their own apartment. Of course natsu was against it and had picked many fights after with grey on how brazen of a sin he had to steal his precious daughter away.

It wasn't long until Nashi had broken the news to her mother that she was pregnant, which Lucy was happy to hear and natsu was helpless against it.

Liddan still remained single as nothing stirred up in his love life, he had decided to move out too as he was already 21 and felt like he needed space away from his bratty brothers and sisters.

This only left natsu and Lucy with 5 of the Dragneels left as they all had grown up a bit in their appearance.

The twins were now 16, and had different rooms now as they didn't like to invade each other's privacy. This left Igneel and jue to share a room while leia defended her room rights. No way was she going to loose her room to the snotty brothers she was born with.

The triplets where now at the age of 17 now as they had discovered that they possessed their fathers abilities which was demon magic. It made sense as none of the rest of the children except for Nashi and Liddan can hear, smell, and see better than the average. They had gone ahead and joined the guild now earning their marks and begun to do easy missions on their own.

That's until Igneel found himself in a troubling situation on his mission…
