Chapter 11 - broken heart -

Ethe ran through the rain as she cried. She knew she was stupid and reckless but didn't care. That just meant she didn't have to be perfect to be herself, but when she saw that gorgeous girl who looked better then her kiss Igneel. She felt a sudden rage to kick her ass, but stopped as Igneel let it happen and kiss the girl back… she felt her heartbreak into a million little pieces. Was she not good enough for him? Had he already moved on to someone better?

She cried as the cold hard rain stung her skin and she ran into a dark alley where she began climbing up some boxes to jump over a fence. She landed on the other side as she stripped off her leather jacket she had on on the floor to stump her scent. She knew igneel was coming after her but she didn't wish to see him anymore.

She continued running back where she had came running earlier to hide her scent with the older one she had marked in the rain. She finally made it underneath a closed stall as she got out of the heavy rain and slump down to the ground as she covered her face with her knees.

"I can't believe what a idiot I am… dad was right, men are the worst.."

*Ethe began to sob as she felt like that night she spent with him was just a mistake to him… did it mean nothing to him?*

Ethe stayed in her little corner as her wails became quiet whimpers… she shouldn't have came after all, she should have stayed home like her father had told her.

Igneel ran through every alley he came across and sniffed the scent that Ethe left behind, the rain was washing it off and he needed to find her fast. It was dark, cold, and raining, he really messed up today.. why was she here? Why did she have to see the kiss? Why is he so worried about her?!

*Igneel felt so conflicted that it was frustrating him, he shouldn't be looking for her and take this as a blessing that she finally got the message to leave him alone. But… seeing her sad black color eyes… struck something inside his gut like if he was caught cheating or something… did they already have a relationship going on?*

Igneel shook his head as he tried focusing again on finding Ethe. He turned into an alley as he jumped a fence to find Ethe's leather jacket. He grabbed it and wrapped it around his arm.

"Damn it Ethe.. where are you??"

*Igneel couldn't find her so he decided to just walk back to the restaurant he left gina and the others behind… before coming across Ethe's scent again as the rain lightened up a bit and saw she was hiding in a corner of a shop.*

Igneel sighed a breath of relief as he came closer to the shop. He stepped on a branch that made a sound causing Ethe to look his way, she looked at him with anger and rage as she held out her hand to him.

"Don't come closer, get out of here Dragneel… I don't want to see you…"

"Calm down Ethe, I came here to talk… "

*Ethe scoffed as she let some tears fall from her angered eyes as she began to activate her magic.*

"Yeah talk… I bet that's what that other girl told you too and by the looks of it you guys were having a excellent conversation.."

*Igneel saw how Ethe began to surround herself in a poison purple like gas, he sighed as he began to step closer to her but she kept her eyes glued to him as he sat next to her but away from the gas cloud.*

"Look Ethe… back there, was nothing but a kiss that I was curious would do if I had done it… I wanted to see if these feelings I had for you were real and not just feelings of 'need' from that night…"

*Igneel tried justifying his actions but Ethe became angrier as how he didn't deny that he had wanted the kiss.*

"You asshole! Was I just a sex toy to you then!… I thought you thought of me as someone who can be with you… but now I see how you saw me.."

*ethe stood up as she tried to flee again but this time Igneel grabbed her wrist and pulled her down with him.*

"Let me go jerk! I'll kill you!! Let me go!!"

"…"

*Igneel stayed silent as ethe concentrated more of her poison to begin killing him. He began coughing but he did NOT let her go..*

"Igneel! I will really kill you if you don't let go!!!"

"*cough cough* then do it… I at least want to die with you in my arms..*cough cough* my heart… hurt when I saw you in the rain when Gina and I kissed… I felt like *cough cough* my entire world came crashing down.."

*Igneel expressed his feelings for the first time now.. Ethe stopped resisting as she stopped her toxic fumes with those of her antidote qualities..*

The air around them was quiet now..

The rain stopped as a few rainwater drops fell from the left over water that gathered on the roof…

A glowing light turquoise feel upon them as Ethe sat inbetween igneels legs… they stayed like that as Igneel began breathing normally again but began sobbing into Ethe's shoulder…

"…forgive me ethe…. Forgive this fool for hurting you… forgive me and.. become my wife…"

*ethe tried turning around to see igneels face but couldn't as he tightened his grip like hug.*

"… please say something ethe… my heart is pounding like crazy and I'm feeling all these crazy emotions.. *sob* I don't like this.. so please say something.."

*ethe peeled off his arms from her as she turned around to raise his head. She saw how flushed his nose was from crying and how his eyes became somewhat feminine when they cried… she smiled at him as she took the back of her hand to wipe his lips and kissed him now.*

"*smooch* no way I'm kissing someone's else's seconds…*smooch* so… *smooch* I accept.. I'll be your wife Igneel.."

*ethe felt herself get lifted up as igneel carried her on his waist and wrapped her legs around him. They got lost in a passionate kiss that Igneel found was making him feel more alive.. he knew now what his father felt whenever he saw his mother.. he felt this feeling called love..*

"Igneel…*kiss* bed… *kiss* now…"

*ethe tried to communicate to the lost dragon but found it no use as he was to lost to bring him back to reality.*

"*sigh* why is it that I'm the one to find my siblings making out somewhere?"

*Liddan sighed as Ethe blushed as she could see Liddan behind Igneel who was devouring her neck.*

Ethe pulled on igneels hair as to get him off her but found it no use either since he was in a trance.. until Liddan whispered in his ear.

"Remember Igneel, consent is key.. and your brother is right behind you..<3"

*Igneel stopped as he took his turned to flush red and dropped Ethe to the floor. She groaned at how he had dropped her on her butt but Igneel quickly helped her up as he looked down in shame at his brothers feet.*

"I'm sorry… I won't let it happen again…"

"Sure…"

*Liddan smiled a bright smile as he was the only one who didn't have any fangs in the family as he wrapped a arm around his brother to get some space in between him and Ethe. He told Igneel how he wouldn't tell anyone about this incident this time but next time he would have no choice but tell mother about it… Igneel thanked his brother as they all walked to Liddan's apartment where he called back to his parents how Igneel was staying the night.*
