With Agnes' help I spent the last few weeks improving my magic, in turn I helped her cook, clean, and gather herbs. I had finally begun to feel like I had a purpose again. I was happy, but a part of me couldn't shake the thought that danger was looming in the shadows.
July 13, 1835
"Agnes!" I call out to her. "I'm going out now!"
"Yes child, don't forget to gather extra parsley for supper, im making stew." She responds.
I slip on my cape, and my slippers, before leaving the cottage. I wonder around the vast woods, which I now knew quite well as I did this once a week, gathering herbs till the sun began to set.
