Viscera

When I finally arrived at the town. Arla was waiting on the surface in the outskirts of the town. I hovered and picked her up. I saw that she had a Barabel head. Looks like she succeeded.

She entered the cockpit space and took a seat. I asked her, "A good hunt?"

"Yes, it was fun. Fun as well. The Barabel was indeed a good warrior. I got the ingot too as well.", she answered.

"Great.", I simply say.

She says, "I saw that you had some interesting bodies and a weird stone head on the ship too. Good hunt?"

I chuckle, "Oh yes, good hunt."

We then left Barab l and jumped back to Myrkr.

While we were traveling, I asked her, "Do you have a weapon in mind now that you have your core?"

Arla had her helmet off at this point and had a slightly thoughtful expression, "I think I will make a light-whip. It will be the best fit I feel like."

"Handle materials?", I follow up.

"I will use the bones of a xenomorph and wood from the trees on Myrkr. Wrapped in xenomorph vein tissue", she answered.

Her choice isn't bad. Xenomorph bones are strong, as is the wood. They are both good materials. The vein tissue is a nice touch too. As it will be resistant to only the most acidic of chemicals.

"Good choice. It will be a tough weapon.", I praise.

When we landed. I let Arla get started on getting her weapon materials collected. As it would take some time for her to process the vein tissue into something useable.

The day I returned, Jango came by with a box. When I met him, he said to me, "You gave us an out for the situation back then. You gave a whole planet where no one would think to find us. A good one too. I thought about it, and I think you deserve more than an alliance. In this crate is Beskar. Enough for you, Arla, and even Furia. When my nephew comes of age, I'll give you some more for him too."

I am a bit surprised, but this wasn't totally unforeseen.

"Jango, I thank you for this Beskar. I will put to good use. As for making it into armor. Such armor will only for those of the appropriate rank. Even I, have not proved myself of the appropriate rank to wear Beskar armor."

Jango gets interested, "What rank would that be? Arla briefly mentioned it, but it wasn't comprehensive."

I explained, "I call them ranks, but they are really titles based on age and experience. Calling them ranks just makes them easier to understand for others. However, due to some reasons, I've decided to add a new title. Master. The Master title will be for Yautja that hunt a force-sensitive black serpent. As getting the Elder and Ancient Title is a matter of time. This will allow the worthy to gain such armor without waiting."

Jango understands my explanation, but then asks, "Arla told me about the black serpents. These xenomorphs. Are they really that dangerous?"

I respond, "Let me put it this way Jango. Arla probably undersold how dangerous they are. They are near perfect predators. They can survive in any environment and can kill anything. They reproduce quickly and brutally. They are so dangerous that it can and has been called beautiful. To kill one and get out with your kill alive is a great feat. To eliminate an entire group of them, even greater. To kill a queen, legendary."

Jango smirks, "Then perhaps I would like to try my hand with them one day."

I laugh, "You are welcome to try Jango. Just know that if anything happens, unless there is a miracle no one will get to you in time for help. So be fully prepared to risk your life."

He nods, "I'll make a not of it. See you later Brother."

"Farewell for now Jango. See you soon.", I say.

Jango leaves. The next day, Arla comes to me while I am researching the genetic codes of my kills. She had Vorn tagging along with her too.

She says to me, "I have everything ready. I can make it now. I also want Vorn to watch of course."

I postpone my analysis, "Good Arla, let us go outside in the training yard. You will construct your hilt there. Vorn can certainly watch as well."

We then go outside to the training yard. Furia is there conversing with Marka when we arrive.

They both look at me and I answer the question in their eyes, "Arla is ready to make her weapon. We will do it here."

Furia is interested to see the construction.

Marka chuckles, "About time. Come out Kaljaren, or you will miss this occasion."

Kaljaren then appears, "Oh, I would not miss this."

Everyone then gathers around. I take Arla's materials in hand. She has around made the pre-shaped parts. Now she just needs to put it all together like any other lightsaber construction. I lay all the pieces in front of her. I then start to guide her on the process.

"Arla, sit down now in a meditative position."

She does.

"Now it is important to feel the Force first. Then guide it into your weapon. Once that is done, communicate your intent trhough the Force. After that, it is down to feeling and instinct."

She attempts to do so, the materials begins to shake and move.

"Good, now keep the intent and let it go."

Arla now relaxes as much as she needed to be. The materials begin to float, and they move. They start to come together and fit together snuggly. It then ends and the completed hilt floats back down to the ground. Arla opens her eyes and sees the completed weapon.

I say, "Congratulations Arla, you have completed your weapon. Ignite it, and name it."

Arla takes the hilt and stands up. She ignites it and a fiery purple whip flows out. I step back to allow Arla to swing it around a bit. The fiery blade is the result of the barab ingot. It causes the blade to be fiery.

Arla does just that. She gives it a few swings and smiles. She manipulates the whip with the Force as she swings. Making it move in odd and dangerous ways. Her smile widens.

I then ask, "What will name the weapon?"

She turns to me, "I will name her Viscera."
