NEEDLE IN A HAYSTACK.

As the car neared the hacienda Jason was filled with excitement. He had not been able to shut up for the whole flight and Anna wondered how much energy he had.

Other kids would have been asleep for the whole flight or were puking.

He couldn't wait to see Anna's daughter. It was all he had been talking about. The things that he was going to teach her and the stories he would tell her.

You would think that they were besties who were finally getting to see each other.

The car stopped and Jason tried to open the door as fast as he could but he failed. Mateo was at his door in a second opening the door for the little boy.

Jason looked around in awe wondering where it was they had brought him. It was the most beautiful place that he had visited.

The flowers that were grown around made the place look even more appealing. He jumped around and squealed.

Anna could see Neegan coming their way and on his side was a little girl. Anna didn't know what she had expected but the girl was different from what she had been expecting.

She had long red hair it wavered to each side with every step that she walked.

Anna could see her piercing blue eyes and knew immediately that she got them from her mother because it wasn't her father.

She wasn't smiling which was the total opposite of Jason. On her hand instead of a toy she was holding a fake gun she assumed.

She had a sweets mile the moment she saw her father and let go of Neegan's hand as she ran to hug Mateo.

"Hey baby ", Mateo said as she crouched down to hug his baby.

She was the most adorable baby Anna had seen. Her eyes averted to her and gave her a sweet smile she proceeded to look at Jason.

Anna could see how Jason was hoping the little girl would like her. Mateo placed her down and faced Jason.

"I brought you a friend baby ", Mateo said as she pointed at Jason.

"Hello, am Ariel ", she said as she greeted Jason.

The excitement on Jason's face could not be hidden. It was the cutest thing Anna had seen all day.

"Am Jason, you have very beautiful hair ", Jason said as he kept staring at her hair.

She sure did have great hair. Neegan noticed the smile on Anna's face as she stared at the two kids and he wondered if she ever wanted to have any kids.

"I can let you brush it if you want ", Ariel said as she moved her head to the side to show Jason her hair.

"Okay ", Jason said who had still not yet let go of Ariel's hand.

"Come on let's go play ", Ariel said as she turned and they all left the grown-ups were left alone to discuss the things that they wouldn't discuss in Infront of the kids.

"You have a lot of explaining to do ", Neegan said as he stared at Anna who didn't say anything back.

She knew that he was pissed at her. Mainly because she had done things without asking for his permission. She didn't understand why she had to ask him before doing something.

"This way Anna ", Neegan said as he started walking towards the house and Mateo was left alone.

He wondered if Jason had already started missing his mother. If he hadn't it wasn't going to take long before he started asking for her.

He knew it was something that was supposed to be done but still, he felt a little guilt for it. He couldn't understand why people who were in the same business as him decided to have kids.

They knew very well that having kids made you very touchable. It was the only thing that the people like him cared about.

Scarface had tried everything he could to make sure Jason was hidden but with only a day Anna had found out about him.

He sometimes wondered how she had found out about him but there was no way she was going to ask her about it.

He couldn't say she was bad at what she did. They had made sales and come back home with money. She had made sure they had regained all the customers they had lost due to Suarez.

It wasn't that it could t be done. If it was a man it would have been a simple thing. She was a woman. She was entering a male-dominated world and was making them do as she wanted.

She did not have any emotions it shocked him.

Mateo could not start to imagine the pain that Jason's father and mother were feeling at the moment. They had lost Jason and the worst part was that nothing had been left to tell them where he was.

Scarface had a lot of enemies even if he started thinking about who had crossed him he wouldn't get through with the whole list.

Mateo knew that Scarface was beside himself with worry about the things that would be done to his son. He knew how ruthless the people that hated him were.

They're ord do anything to get to him including killing his son just so that they could get to him. All Mateo hoped was that they didn't get to kill the kid.

He would do anything except that. He couldn't end the life of a kid who didn't even know what he was being punished for.

It wasn't Jason's fault that his father was a dick and couldn't do as he was told.

Anna was ruthless but Mateo didn't know to what lengths she would go to prove a point. He hoped that inside her there was even a little part that cared and she couldn't hurt the kid.

She hadn't even thought twice about taking the kids. She had known that the girls were going to be killed by their mistakes. That wasn't her problem though, she had said.

They should have been more alert at their job. They were guarding a kid of a man who was hated by most business people.

From brothel owners to drug dealers, Scarface's list was inclusive of all people it was gonna take a lot to find Anna.

She was like a needle in a haystack.
