After another series of examinations, Heisuke was allowed to return home that mid-afternoon. All of them got inside Shuuya's car as he drove them back.

Heisuke had a change of fresh clothes as Shuuya ran out to get them.

The weather was still bad as the rain continued falling. Masses of dark clouds spread out in the sky, obscuring the giant ball of light from being seen.

Even though the rainfall stopped occasionally, it was not enough to let the sun spread its heat and light to the town. Nevertheless, it was fortunate that there was no flood warning.

Despite today being a weekend, not many people were out to enjoy it because of the gloomy weather. The usually cheerful shops and cinema turned bleak at this time. Some of the shopkeepers eased their boredom by watching TV or playing board games with the staff.
