Wasn't That Too Rush?

This New Year brought another meaning to Heisuke.

Before, Heisuke was only grateful because he was able to continue living in peace with his mother despite the lack of monetary things. It was better than during the years his father was still in their family.

Now, Heisuke didn't want to just live and be grateful for the current moment. He had to work harder and map out his future properly, not only for his mother but, also for Hisaki.

His lady would only be wronged by him if he didn't take a better course of action.

That morning, before having breakfast, the mother and son formally exchanged wishes.

Donned in newer clothes, Heisuke sat on the floor with his legs folded underneath his thighs. He gave his mother a deep bow.

"Mom, I wish you a Happy New Year. I hope you'd always be healthy and blessed."
