Chisaka Hisaki and Saeki Heisuke only met each other in the latter half of their lives. Deep scars wounded their hearts yet, they found comfort and healing in each other.

The younger Heisuke almost accidentally killed someone due to his thirst for revenge. Despite escaping death row, he still suffered a decade in prison.

After her initial plan succeeded, she finally met him!

The quiet young man was really him. Even though he didn't show it to anyone, she knew how soft and colorful his heart was; as soft as cotton candy, as colorful as the balls of yarns. 

Heisuke eyed the new girl in town with suspicions but, his heart felt strange. It went doki-doki.

For Our Happier Path

After thinking long and hard, Heisuke decided that the best course of action was by directly meeting Kousuke. Even Hisaki and Shuuya supported his choice, saying he made a good one.

"Slap that money on his face! How dare he treat you like that? Urgh... if only I can smack him myself."

Those words came from Hisaki. She was still infuriated by what Kousuke had secretly done. Her words made Hisaki laugh.

"Actually, I've warned him before. Tell him to no longer mess with our territory here. I won't be so forgiving next time."

Shuuya tipped some reminders to Kousuke through Heisuke. He was also dissatisfied with the young man's actions.

To immediately resolve this issue, Heisuke applied for a two-days leave from Mr. Kajiwara. He departed for the capital city early this morning on the bullet train with a bag on his back. His arrival time was at noon.
