He Would Fall Into Our Trap Soon

After the end of their honeymoon, what waiting for the newlyweds was schedules full of work, study and business. Heisuke was the busier one while Hisaki was left with more free time.

As Mr. Mayeda's assistant, sometimes Heisuke needed to follow him on outstations. Fortunately, so far, he didn't need to stay the night at those places.

Despite how late Heisuke could be in arriving home on those days, Hisaki often welcomed him back with warm home-cooked meals. It was one of the ways to show that she cared for her husband.

The crisp autumn breeze was already replaced with the cool winter air. But, because Kaagawa City was located on the southern tip of the country, they didn't feel the dreary cold. Most of the residents still opted for light jackets.

One weekend night, Heisuke and Hisaki decided to have a hotpot for dinner. They prepared the broth and other ingredients together before setting them up at the kotatsu table in the living room.
