She would lose Édouard [Bonus Chapter]

Damien and Andrew looked at each other before shifting their gazes at her.

"I have that journal. I never read it because it was of my father's. However, I am confident that the Princes can find something from that journal," Suzanne asserted.

"Read it first and then come to us," Damien said. "You can leave Miss Barnard," he gestured to her to get off the carriage. Suzanne bowed to both of them and got down from the carriage. She went to the horse on which she had chased them and moved away from the road.

The coachman drove the carriage again. Andrew told Damien they could have gotten the journal from that young woman.

"Let her read first. Let's see if she will dare to bring the journal to us first," Damien opined.

"Do you think she will not?" Andrew asked.

"Maybe. Because she is the daughter of Oliver Barnard, she may want to hide her father's evil face, if the journal carries anything evil," Damien stated.
