Shatter your misconception

"Mrs. Barnard must have work to attend in the house," Damien stated and saw Suzanne settling on the bed.

"I think she left because you suddenly came to see them," Suzanne concluded.

"But I didn't ask them to leave. You saw that," Damien replied. "You can go to your home and spend the entire day with your mother," he opined and asked her not to carry that face around him.

"What expression?" Suzanne queried, her curiosity piqued.

"Your present expression," Damien responded, then questioned her about the change in her attire that day.

"What are you referring to?" Suzanne asked, casting a glance at her gown. "I simply wore what was chosen for me," she mumbled.

"Observe your lips. You've never applied such a bold coat of lipstick. Is it because I kissed you this morning, and you're hoping to capture my attention on them once more?" Damien inquired, a sly grin forming on his lips.
