Gift went ahead and told Felix how they started seeing each other first in secret before it became public knowledge because the man had not wanted to keep the affair under wraps for much longer. He deliberately let the information about their relationship drop here and there and made sure they were seen at strategic places. This she later found out was so that Felix would not be kept in the dark but know of Gift's infidelity and call it quits but it had been she- Gift who had called it quits because she had been under the influence of some powers he used on her.
