Chinonso had listened to his mother's narration. She had always told them how she had met their father but it hadn't been so detailed and lengthy this way and though he wanted to get to somewhere, he found that he could not tear himself away.
'Mum, you said that one shouldn't get married for pity or favour or even sex, but for love. Is it possible to love two people at the same time and equally too?' he asked
'I don't believe that is possible. You must definitely love one better than the other except you are lying to yourself or except what you have for them is passion and not love then you could desire the both of them equally', she said.
'Wow and we who pride ourselves on being educated think we know so much about love. More people should listen to you. Mum, you are a marvel'.
'Thank you my son but let's not change the subject. Have you found anyone who has caught your fancy?' she asked.
