How could her own sister do this to her? They were just two of them who were girls. so could she not show her some love and loyalty?
She knew of families who had more female children who were exceedingly beautiful and yet none is jealous of the other or try to take what belongs to the other. Siblings were not supposed to convert what the other had. They are not selfish and greedy.
Mary had many boy and male friends and admirers. She could choose anyone of them she wanted to be with, yet she decided to choose her fiancee.
