One Hundred and Eighteen

Gift got to Abuja and was dazzled. It was a whole new world. The place looked like paradise.

Chinonso had sent someone to pick her up and drive her to his home since he was very busy at the office.

When Gift got to the compound, she had to bit back her squeal of delight. The building was a two storey building and Nonso as she preferred to call Chinonso was living in the first floor.

The door opened and Gift found that everything a girl could ever desire were all there.

Who would want to settle for less when you could have more?

How could someone expect her to remain in that village wallowing in lack when she could have all the gardgets whose invention had been made possible.

She sat down and was served drinks and food.

Nonso was not long in getting back home and Gift flew into his arms. It had been so long.

'I thought that you have forgotten about me!', she said pouting prettily.
