Alicia rushed in to see what happened and who broke whose heart, only to meet her friend bawling out without a single tear on her face while her aunt consoled her with a pitiful gaze.
Alicia couldn't make a head of what was going on, she was bewildered and just stood there looking at her aunt and Lydia. "She promised me, she said she would love only meee" Lydia lamented again.
"There's nothing you can do bout it now, since she is married because she ...... doesn't feel the same way" Maya tried to console her again without hurting her feelings, but she was certainly finding it really difficult to do that with the way she struggled with her sentences.
Then the realization hit Alicia that they were talking about her, her face darkened as she watched the drama ensue without them noticing her presence. Lydia was now leaning on the wall opposite the kitchen "right here aunt Maya, right here she promised to love me for all eternity" Lydia said again while acting sorrowfully.
