Chapter 32- The Dark Forest 3

"Don't come any closer!" She yelled, picking up a big stick with her good hand while the other injured one was on her chest, she blew on it due to the burning sensation which made her very uncomfortable.

Getting up slowly, Valeria darted her eyes quickly from one creature to another. Taking a step back to test if they would follow her, she took another but they stood rooted at their spot making Valeria more confused and cautious.

"Get away from here, all of you!" Valeria shouted and to her astonishment, they all turned and ran away. Astounded, Valeria stood still trying to decipher what just happened. She was brought back to reality when a figure flashed past her with speed, she lost balance and fell on the ground.

"Miles away I can smell your blood, its scent is glorious and extraordinary." Valeria was on alert when she heard the whisper of someone in the woods which reached her ears.
