"Odelia! He's a human, father will not approve."

"I don't care Theola, as far as we are in love." Theola tugged at her hair angrily.

"But it is an abomination, why do you want to change our tradition Odelia? He's not even good looking as Alan."

"I don't go for looks sister, I aim for love." Theola scoffed at her sister's statement.

"Father will surely deal with you."

Odelia who was just nineteen then always sneaked out to meet her lover until she was caught red handed and locked in a room for days without food or water.

"Youths are full of ignorance these days, have you forgotten that you're a witch and humans despise us? Have you also forgotten that you have a longer life span compared to that filthy lover of yours!" Her father spat furiously. Odelia kept quiet staring at the floor.

"You and Alan are going to be bound together as soon as possible." He spoke with finality and left the room to the worried Odelia.
