 Valeria walked ahead of the young warlock, the night was still bright so she was able to see her way. They both walked in silence for a long time until they finally stopped at a small river and Valeria felt lucky. 


 "Turn around and guard me." The warlock nodded without blinking an eye. 


 She stared at the clearwater shining under the moonlight. Valeria shivered at the thought of a siren hiding inside, waiting for her. 


 Taking a deep steady breath, Valeria carefully entered the cold water. How she hated water with passion. 


 She washed herself while being extra vigilant and cautious, when she was done she put on the gown she wore previously on her wet body. 


 "Let's go." The warlock followed without questioning her. They matched on for half an hour into the forest before Valeria decided they should rest.
