While walking a long distance with Valeria in his arms and the annoying Reginald beside him, Valeria finally opened her eyes slowly and Everand stopped, so did Reginald when he noticed how Everand halted. 


Reginald stood at his tiptoes so he could peek at his mother's face. 


"Reginald." She whispered his name but they still heard it. Everand's focus was on her face, waiting for her to fully open her eyes. 


"Rest some more Val, if you still feel exhausted I don't mind carrying you all the way." Everand let her know and she smiled at him with her eyes still closed. 


She snuggled closer, resting her heavy head at a comfortable spot on his chest, her eyes were still closed. Everand felt so happy that she didn't reject him this time around. 


"How are you Regi?" She tiredly inquired. 


Everand lifted a brow at him, wondering why he said that.
