Daphne commented earning a smack behind her head while Kaithleen just kept laughing at Daphne earning her a glare from the smacker herself who by the way is Arwen.
"Dude you didn't have to smack me that hard, I was just complimenting her, nothing more." Daphne rubbed her head trying to soothe the pain somehow for the second time in less that four hours.
Arwen on the other hand was unfazed and she just shrugged.
"Better late than sorry." Arwen shrugged nonchalantly making Daphne just wanna pin her to the wall and spank the bratiness out of her.
Bad time to get turned on but can you blame her? Her mate looked like a three course meal. Sigh.
"Daphne I advice you to stay at least ten centimeters away from this crazie over here if you still love your life." Kaithleen advised pointing at Arwen referring to her as the "crazie" they should all be scared of meanwhile Daphne didn't head to the advice neither did she have plans to in the first place.
"Nonsense, I'd accept my mate and stay close to her even if she stabbed me every time I come close to her." Daphne opened the front passengers seat for Arwen to get in.
"Thank you Daph." Arwen walked towards Daphne and wrapped her arms around her neck and leaned in closer pulling Daphne for a kiss.
Finally they felt each other's lips and Arwen smiled biting Daphne's lip a little as her way of asking for entrance and of course Daphne let her.
Did you think Daphne will reject a kiss from her mate? No way she'd miss that and the best part for Daphne had to be that Arwen initiated the kiss so no harm done there.
The couple broke the kiss only after giving Kaithleen a full make out session much to Arwen's delight and Kaithleen's dissatisfaction.
"I'd get back to you two when I find my mate, don't you worry about a thing." Kaithleen glared at them one last time before entering the back seat of the car while Daphne just chuckled and Arwen finally entered the car strapping her seatbelts and sitting quietly like a good girl Daphne knew she was. Daphne turned around and entered the car as well before doing the necessities and driving off and for those curious on what the necessities are then they include: Daphne strapping her seatbelts, starting the engine, and last but not the least has to be driving off.
"So Daphne, what do you think about your mate?" Kaithleen shuffled in her seat while Arwen internally face palmed while thinking 'You just couldn't help yourself, could you?'
Daphne chuckled a little about what she heard in Arwen's head but her mate had forgotten that she's a mind reader so she didn't react and continued playing dumb.
"Which mate exactly are you talking about?" Daphne put on the cutest pout she could pull but Kaithleen was not having it and smacked her head aggressively.
"OUCH! What was that for?" At this point Daphne came to a conclusion that Arwen has taught her how to smack people for the smallest things.
"The mate with you right now is who I am asking you about not your other mate dummy." Kaithleen said lacing her words with distaste when Daphne's other mate was mentioned making Daphne angry beyond relief , past the point of calming down but she tried to hold it in especially when Daenery's wanted nothing more than to eat her up and break every bone in her body but Daphne knew their mate will be mad and so will Vaeda when she sees them killing their bestfriend so she tried to talk calmly for her mate's sake.
"Kaithleen I respect you because you are Arwen's friend who also happens to be my mate but if you talk shit about my mate mistakenly or out of spite then we will have a very huge problem.
I said mistakenly because if its intentional then I will personally kill you and that is a promise. I informed Arwen about having two mates for a reason and not for nothing, you do not have to like my mate but keep the attitude in your pockets or wherever else you locked it up all this time because I won't be taking it."
Daphne rushed in one breath while continuously accelerating to the point that her car was speeding just the way she liked it and she felt the adrenaline rush in her veins making her feel better for just a minute before the annoyance filled her once more.
Arwen on the other hand was just mad that her friend couldn't just keep her darn mouth shut, after all they knew according to Daphne's explanation the mate in question might not even be Zelda to begin with and even if it was her then what's wrong with that.
If only she knew how wrong she was about that.
''Daphne, I apologize on Kaithleen's behalf, she's just trying to look out for me.'' Árwen slipped her hand into Daphne's hand but she swiftly brushed Arwen's hand off pressing her foot on the break pedal bringing the car to a sudden halt.
''Looking out for you does not mean talking shit about my mate.''
