"But how can I reject something that was not accepted in the first place?"
Arwen acted clueless enjoying the feeling of seeing her brother struggle and her being the course of it in the first place.
"Its like this, mates are gifts from the moon goddess herself, partners destined to be together and you can call them soul mates meaning that their souls complete each other and luckily for us the moon goddess also gifted us with distinctive scents that can only be identified by our significant others.
So its easier for us to know our mates the only thing is that we have to find them first and they may be miles away, thousands of miles away etc so it takes a long time for us to find them but since its mates are predestined to meet then they do in fact meet unless in certain cases.
There are some cases where the mates die before they meet their other halves and in those cases the moon goddess gifts the victim with another mate but only if the mate in question is good and kind or has gone through a lot in the past before she does that.
A gift can go two ways : Its either you accept the gift or you reject the gift and in this situation you are rejecting her as your mate. Simple, no harm done."
Caspian took his time explaining making Arwen get the answer to some of her questions and also making her question if her brother standing in front of her was sober or high or if he was just plain insane but she got her answer when she processed the end part of his explanation in her head.
Her brother had no path to redemption, he just explained the meaning of mates and still expected her to reject her soul mate. Like how twisted could he get?
Yep that was a rhetorical question that no one but Caspian himself could answer.
"So what do you say?" Caspian probed for an answer after all his explanation of course he needed something to work with.
"I do not want to, I won't reject my mate. Hell no." Raedel was purring, growling and scratching to be set free so she could show Tailknor who's boss.
"You will do what I tell you or you will face the consequences sister.
I see the future, I will ruin you and I will make it my personal mission." Caspian was raging mad as he spat out.
'Apparently your version of the future is the wrong one and I really feel sorry for the people who believe you.' Arwen thought as she smirked irking Caspian further to his own dissatisfaction and to her satisfaction.
"Do what you want to me, I don't care. Come at me, I'd be waiting." Arwen turned around and walked over to the door but Caspian grabbed a fistful of her hair and threw her across the room not caring if she got hurt or not.
Raedel purred and took control from Arwen, she walked towards Caspian who let his wolf take over when he saw Arwen giving control to Raedel.
Kaithleen heard the loud thud and rushed to the direction she heard the distinct sound come from and the scene she was met with surpassed her wildest imaginations.
"You are pathetic." Tailknor growled as they circled each other waiting or one to take the lead by pouncing on the other.
"I could say the same for you, you better stay away from my mate for your own good." Raedel purred.
"And who do you think you are to be giving me orders?" Tailknor felt wrong that his sister ordered him to do something.
He doesn't take orders from anyone. His ego was hurt.
"Your fucking sister! Hurt my mates and I and swear to the Heaven's that that even the Devil himself wouldn't be able to stop me from hurting you myself. Dick!!" Arwen threw the plan to manipulate Caspian just to know his next move down the drain the moment he mentioned her mate.
Well he mentioned the future so that is indirectly mentioning Daphne since she now saw a future with both her mates Daphne and Zelda.
Yes she's coming to terms with the whole two mates thing.
Kaithleen's jaw was on the floor while Arwen who wasn't satisfied that Caspian attacked her and she didn't react on time abruptly got up and ran to the man kicking the latter where the sun doesn't shine.
