Part Two

For those who were not killed in Murray's pack, they were sure that Murray was dead, and their lives depended on their choices at the moment. Those who were the most trusted members of his pack were killed with the silver bullets. The group was on Cooper's knee for the first time, begging for their lives. Murray had kept the whole village under control because they could not feed humans, but Cooper wanted the pack to provide for anything. Now that he was in power, the human species was in trouble. He thought the hunting was not for wild animals but for human beings to feed on them and make their packs stronger. Every village around their village becomes their feeding place. The whole group was out of control except for Murray's pack, which could not feed on humans.

Cooper was ruthless, and gaining control of the pack was everyone's worst nightmare. After some time, his right-hand man returned to his pack with good and bad news.

Sire, he called him Cooper.

What is it, Michel? Have you been able to locate a village for us to attack? Cooper asked.

"Yes sire, and more than that, I have some bad news," he said.

And what makes it bad? He asked.

Murray still lives...

"What? he asked with bitterness.

I saw him with my own eyes in the village we would attack next. He said his voice was trembling with fear.

And why didn't he attack you before you came to report it? Cooper asked.

"You know him with the human sympathy sire," Michael replied.

You can leave, "Cooper dismissed him.

This was unfortunate news that Cooper didn't expect to hear. How was he alive? Does it mean that a silver bullet cannot kill him? What did those villagers give him? He crushed glass of wine in his hand. Now he had to devise a proper attack plan to hit them just below the belt. And their goal was to strike them to ensure no one survived, including Murray.

Murray's remaining pack heard the news. This was so fortunate for them because they were treated like slaves by Cooper and his people. They also had to devise a proper plan as they laid their heads low to inform Murray about an attack that was being planned on villagers together with him. One of them had to reach out to Murray as they had planned, but they didn't know that Cooper had an inside man among them who would inform him about everything. So the day of the informer to go and warn the villagers came, but the traitor betrayed them, and he was given the authority to stop him. He was arrested before he could reach out to the villagers. And the attack was to happen in daylight, but they left Murray's pack in the chain because they had betrayed them and could also lead to his defeat. Therefore, without hesitation, they started their journey to the village.

As Cooper was coming to the village to attack, Perry and Murray had gone to the other side of the river to harvest. Murray closed with their harvest using their boat; he had to go for his mate.

Perry stood at the water's edge, looking so innocent at her womanhood age now, a woman capable of bearing children. She stood gazing over emerald water with her pure royal blue spheres. Her terracotta hair danced lightly in the sea breeze. She smiled to herself with anticipation, resting her cheek against one hand as she traced a finger along her golden necklace. She wore a lemon-colored crisp blouse and a smoke-colored skirt that showed off her sepia curves. Her carrot-colored locks flowed out in pigtails from either side of her head, complementing her spotless light brown visage. An elaborate tattoo snaked its way around her visible skin. A noticeable sigil provided proof of her descent. She stood waiting and admiring her love from a distance. She remembered how her passion grew for him.

It started on the day when he was facing certain death, desperately in need of a savior. He was in the form of Murray, and she knew nothing else beyond that. She was nursing him and admired him for his touch and his blue-colored eyes. The man she was willing to spend the whole of her life with was a man who could scare away any danger. They became inseparable when she developed her feelings for him, and he confessed his love to her. They could snick out and go to the lakeside. They share every part of their lives.

She was out of her mind for a moment, and Murray came and stepped out of the boat.

"Perry," Murray said simply, with a smile on his face. His teal depths complemented his sapphire mane, bruising against his ears, belying his pure heart. He wore trousers and no shirt when he came to her on the other side of the lake. He was robust and color-touched ivory and sturdily built. As Perry drew near, her body started trembling. She smiled at herself.

"Oh!" Murray! You came! "Perry said breathlessly, reaching out to his hands. She embraced and gave him a quick hug and a chaste peck on the cheek and the chest. They sat on the grass and started talking. She was restless, and he noticed her lips asking for more. Her nipple sharpened, and her royal blue eyes showed lust. He was caught up in her seduction. Her scent changed, and they couldn't deny it. To everyone's surprise, before Murray spoke, Perry spoke first.

"I-I've never really... had anything like this before." She clung tighter to Murray's calloused hand, resting her head against his.

"Never?" he asked.

Her voice trailed off, and her eyelashes flicked downward as if memories of the past rose to flash before her eyes.

"I love you," he replied, landing a peck on her soft salmon coiffure.

"I love you too."

They slept on each other, chest to chest, for a long time, the beautiful clear sky decorated with only a few hints of loamy clouds. The sun strung her strands and lit dazzling highlights of gold in the sunset.

Murray looked at her on top of him admiringly. "You're beautiful," he told her. She blushed.

"W-Why do you say that..." she stuttered, still recovering from his compliment.

"Because it's the truth." Murray placed his hand around Perry, holding her tight to his chest.

"Not only that," he continued. "You're talented as well." I couldn't have made it without you.

You're a talented nurse and healer."

"I caused much time," he mumbled. "And you are strong for fighting for your life that much..." Her eyes wandered over his face, his caring depths in his cerulean mane. "...and handsome. I'm so lucky to have met you. "

"It must have been destiny." She gave him a reassuring squeeze. "But I never want you in that kind of danger again that left you half dead."

"As long as you are by my side," he whispered, letting Murray draw her into an embrace.

"Nothing bad will happen to me."

"I swear it," he affirmed.

"Oh, Murray..." "I love you so much," she whispered, her hand seeking out his calloused ones.

Then it all started with birds flying in the air, the clear sky became cloudy, and the sun disappeared into the clouds. Murray knew that was the warning sign. He listened from a distance to hear movements and the werewolves' scent. He didn't know exactly where they were going, but he was sure it was to the village. His voice changed, becoming very deep.

"Is there something wrong?" she asked.

"N-No, just thought we should get back to the village before your father kills me because of you." he said.

While they were closing, they heard people crying from the village. The sound was filled with the pain and desperation of people. Towards reaching the subsequent end of the lake, Perry was crying, and Murray was now distraught. He could do anything. After all, he knew exactly what was happening in the village because he could hear the roar of werewolves tearing people's necks apart.

"Whatever happens now, I know things won't be the same again," he said.

"Are you leaving me?" she asked.

"NO," he said, his deep voice becoming more powerful.

"Have you ever heard of werewolves?" he asked.

"Those are just old age stories," she replied.

"Then watch me," he said, his teeth and mouth becoming sharper. His whole body was covered by fur hair. She fainted before he could even shift completely.

When he was in animal form, he had super speed. So he carried her and hid near the village where no one could see her. He then smirked blood on her whole body before leaving her. He got into the town, the villagers' bodies were all over, and Cooper's pack was still killing more people. He began killing the copper pack one by one. Since it was a huge pack, Murray fought it with all his strength, but they kept coming more and more.

Then Murray's pack that was left tied up arrived to help Murray, and at the same time, werewolf hunters were also brought in by the group. The attack on Copper's was high, and they were all defeated with the death of Cooper. Only a few of Cooper's pack were left alive, and they were now under the command of Murray. He regained his leadership in the pack.
