Swifty the Raccoon

The old grey haired raccoon was dressed in a standard swordsman attire with his sword at his waist as he serenely stood there until he was called out by Pixel, he then stepped forward and knelt down before placing a kiss on her hand. "This old man Swifty will not let you-gara~ down my little master. I pledge to be your sword until the day I die."

Meanwhile the other two had a look of disappointment on their faces but Pixel briefly noticed that the last person had shown malice towards her for a moment. "I will rely on you-chu~ in the future."

The old man stood by Pixel and Ash while the others were starting to leave but a timid voice spoke up. "I..I um.. I want him."

Not long after Pixel had selected the old raccoon mink, the youngest son had noticed the brief look of malice that was targeted towards Pixel and he suddenly smirked as he had thought of something.

He turned to his sister and whispered something in her ear, the little sister looked very upset and unwilling but he suddenly became colder as he said. "My twin sister is my other half and mother says that you must help your brother to succeed. Do not disappoint mother again like last time."

He then turned away from her and his twin sister had then pointed to someone else who had not even volunteered to serve her but instead her second sister which was Pixel.

Pixel turned her head around as the two pairs of amber eyes locked with each other as she started at her youngest brother who looked at her mockingly.

She had been able to get a look at the members of her family and those within the main bloodline seemed to have one main similarity between them which was their amber eyes while their hair colours and animal bloodline was different for most of them. 'If I did not have these eyes then maybe they would have used it against me in the future and try to frame my mother and me for cheating the family.'

In a battle for succession, such tactics would be the most effective in cutting off her support and to have her thrown out of the family.

Since she was not of the feline bloodline, she was already a disappointment or a stain in many others eyes so if she lacked the amber eyes of the main line, more would suspect that she was not born from the previous head of the family which may even lead to her mother and her being severely punished and losing everything they had.

She turned to look towards the old lynx that had grey hair and amber eyes like her own and asked. "Grandfather, I would like to ask if it is within the rules to choose from someone else's choice of swords?"

The old lynx mink replied without displaying any emotion. "It is best if you choose from those that have volunteered themselves to you but there is no rule against it if anyone wishes to choose from those that have already been rejected."

He then turned to the youngest daughter. "Are you certain that you wish to choose him?"

The brother nudged her which made her timidly answer with her head down as she tried to hide her tears that were forming. "Un.."

The brother then turned to smirk triumphantly at Pixel but the next thing had caused him to back off a little as he felt intimidated.

Pixel used Laser Focus and then Leer as she landed a critical hit as she intimidated her youngest brother.

Although the effects of her non combat/damaging type moves were very small and did not last long on people like her grandfather and the others, the effects were more than enough to defeat a small four year old child.

Her actions were very small and went unnoticed by many but the old family head was sharp enough to notice the strangeness of his actions as he had been intimidated by Pixel and shook his head. 'Pathetic child..'

In the end, the youngest son had stepped back and looked away from Pixel's eyes that leered at him until he could regain his composure as he started to choose his own sword. "I choose you-gara~."

He had chosen a large mink with the toughest looking build and they had a larger and heavier sword on his back.

The eldest daughter had been carefully observing everything and was trying to come up with the best possible answer for the test so she finally spoke up when everyone had chosen. "I hope that you can show your skills in a duel with training weapons, I will chose from those that I approve of or those that are the final winner."

The old lynx mink looked at his eldest granddaughter with a look of approval. "I will allow it."

Each of the one on one duels took place and the numbers were becoming less but the eldest sister of Pixel had continued to observe quietly.

The finals took place as wooden training swords clashed with each other and then an opening appeared as the sword was about to land, the other person held the wooden sword that had hit their waist and ruthlessly aimed towards the head of the other mink who had been hit on the side of her head and fell down in a slightly dizzy state as her head had started bleeding.

"What?"

"That.. that was cheating right?"

"That move could have cut his waist if it was strong enough and with a real sharp weapon but if someone has enough skill, they could possibly stop it and grab hold before it gets any deeper."

"So.. it is legal?"

"There are people out there that can do anything to win. Even if it is shameful."

Suddenly an immature and cold voice interrupted them as the small female tiger mink had stepped forward. "There is no need to continue, it is decided."

Just as she spoke, the wooden sword was going to come down upon the wounded mink once again to beat her into submission or seriously wound her while she was weakened.

Since she had spoken up, the fight had been stopped and then she pointed to the wounded female mink. "Send someone to heal her wounds, I will choose her."

The other mink looked shocked. "How?!"

The small tiger mink raised her chin haughtily and indifferently said. "You may have won but it was not a noble victory. I did say that I could either choose from someone or take the winner, I did not go back on my word."

Pixel looked towards her older sister in admiration. 'She is quite good. I like her.'
