Future paths and new inspirations

The four young female Minks had each settled into their roles and had adjusted to their daily life as they each began to show off their individual talents and grew closer to each other.

A couple of months had passed by and Pixel had been able to have a stabler relationship with others and a better environment for a child to grow up in which had lessened most of her worries and burdens.

As the four of them carried out the training from old Swifty, they each displayed their individual specialties in combat as Pixel was able to dig, jump and display high speed and acrobatics while the others had their own talents.

Liquorice had a stronger skull and a pair or spiralling horns on her head which allowed her to use her head in most of her attacks and she had a body which was a little taller, thicker and more curvy than Pixel and Harley who had quite small and slender builds, she was able to run quite well and charge forward but she lacked the jumping abilities of Pixel and Harley.

Misty had used her body to her advantage as she was very tall, slim and had a longer reach with her longer limbs so she was able to grab onto her opponents, swing out her arms or legs and attack with her claws, while she had excellent climbing abilities and was able to hand upside down she did not have excellent jumping abilities too.

Harley was also quite quick as she moved faster than them and swung around her wooden sword without a sign of hesitation as each slash was very quick, precise and deadly even though she was a little bigger than Pixel and was much shorter and thinner than the other two girls.

The four of their bodies were surrounded by Electro in their own way as the entire fleece of Liquorice was charged up, the legs of Harley were covered in Electro to help increase her speed, the claws and upper arms of Misty were covered with Electro and Pixel had switched between using it on her tail, feet and claws as she moved and fought.

Pixel easily avoided a charge from Liquorice and jumped on her back as she absorbed the Electro into her body while she was being shaken off when she was attacked suddenly from the side.

She jumped off and avoided the wooden sword which hit the back of Liquorice who let out a cry. "Aaah. Ouch!"

Pixel then revealed a smug grin as she watched as the sheep turned around and charged at Harley to get her revenge but she kept up her vigilance as a pair of long arms came her way like a strong hammer and were about to hit her.

She ducked down and quickly moved as she kept dodging the quick and long arms as they quickly attacked her with different types of smashing and slashing moves but she soon arrived by the side of Misty as her tail whipped around as it was covered in Electro and hit the waist of her before she quickly appeared above the two others who were fighting with a large jump into the air.

The effect of Lightning Rod as her hidden ability had rendered electrical attacks ineffective and had only helped to let her absorb more Electro and boost her attack power as her attacks became charged up for a while after she was hit by the attacks or made contact with it.

She had even found out that her body did not have the same weakness as other Minks who had suffered in hot places so she had many advantages over her own kind.

Her red cheeks started to release Electro sparks while in the air above Harley and Liquorice as she released a large amount of Electro from above which fell down onto their bodies. "Thunder-shock!"

Each Mink had control over Electro and had some resistance to electrical attacks to a certain degree but they could not possibly resist a large enough attack like what she had released.

Even if the overall damage had been reduced, they still became stunned for a while and their bodies fur became filthy and blackened as if they had just been burned or experienced a strong electrical shock.

They each dropped down weakly just as Misty had after she had been hit by Pixel's Electro Tail attack which had gained Pixel the victory. "This is thirty wins out of thirty. You all need to keep training if you hope to catch up to me."

There was a hint of smugness in her voice as she tried to rile them up and make them more competitive as they would be motivated to try harder. 'Grow quickly my friends and rivals.'

Meanwhile they all remained on the ground and rested as they occasionally let out a light cough.

Harley looked at the burned wooden sword and sighed. "Master can.. cough, can you make me another?"

Old Swifty looked over and revealed a look of displeasure. "Fine but give me some time. I need to finish this first."

Pixel walked to his side and examined the carving he was working on and praised it. "Wow it looks so realistic! Good job! I should have given you those pictures much sooner."

In his hands and by his side were many different shaped carvings of many sizes as they were each carved into something different but each one seemed to be very lifelike.

Among the cleaner and newer looking ones, Pixel picked them up and examined them one by one and smiled. 'These may be helpful for making new additions to the store..'

A while ago she had been practicing her drawing and had been drawing many types of Pokémon from her previous world which were then kept to the side or discarded but when old Swifty saw them, he was inspired to make them into wooden figurines or carvings.

During his free time, his hobby was wood carving and he was inspired enough to carve many Pokemon carvings from scratch as he was learning from the drawings and with Pixel's advice so he was quick to make some suitable models after some trial and error.

In front of her were some wooden carvings of a Pikachu, Eevee, Slakoth and Mareep which had been painted too as they looked very cute and realistic. "Can I keep these? If possible… I would like to use these for a business idea."

Old Swifty snorted. "Fine but bring me more wood."

Pixel nodded excitedly as she showed Liquorice them. "Do you think you will be able to sew something like this? I want some small accessories made along with some cuddly toys or plushies."

She had many ideas that ranged from different bag or clothing attachments that were made from cloth materials as most would be smaller versions of teddies or plushies and some would be made from harder materials on different accessories.

Others would be sold as larger versions of them as they would be huggable teddies or plushies while the original wood carvings could be put on sale too as decorations or toys.

Liquorice nodded. "I think I can but it will take many attempts. I may need my mothers help to do the more complicated parts."

Pixel grinned as she turned to Misty and said. "You should help the others and tend to your own wounds."

Misty sighed as she got up onto her feet and she took out a creamy mixture of herbs as she started rubbing it onto her own and the others bodies.

They started to feel cool as it was applied to them and their previous injured bodies started to sting a little as the effects were working.

Misty had been studying treating others as she had already had quite a good amount of knowledge of herbs, plants and fruits from the tavern as her family had allowed her to learn from them.

She did know how to cook a little as she learned from her parents but it was not really her greatest interest or hobby as she did not wish to make a career out of it.

Upon arriving at the Meridian family, she was forced to think carefully about how to use her knowledge and find her own specialty but she grew more interested in herbs and medicine as she found her path as a doctor or a chemist.

In between learning more and experimenting with herbal mixtures and other materials, she was tending to the wounds of herself and her friends each time they sparred and trained together so she was improving quickly.

Harley the fennec fox had taken the path of the quick and precise sword but was attending the same lessons as Pixel.

Pixel had taken the path of a fashion designer and pastier while she was undergoing intense lessons from the family as she was forced to learn the basics of most subjects but recently they had included navigation and many others that were needed as a member of the main bloodline so that she could be knowledgeable enough to assist with the families duties.

Liquorice the valias black-nose sheep took the path of a tailor and hairdresser but she did have some experience crafting with many types of materials so she was very helpful to Pixel for her current plan.

Misty the sloth had chosen to walk down the path of a doctor or chemist as she wished to fill in for a position that was not yet taken and she wished to heal herself and her friends when they were hurt.

Old Swifty the raccoon had taken the role as an instructor or mentor but also a protector while he worked on his woodcarvings.

Finally there was Ash the snow leopard who had taken the role as a loving and caring mother but also a skilled chef and combatant.

Pixel did not yet know it but she was already on her way to forming her own crew that could support each other in the future through many trials and each of them were from one of the best fighting races in the world.
