Thunder Shock

A large amount of Electro had been gathered into a larger and more condensed sphere.

Just as Pixel had bypassed those at the front and was closer to the middle of them, she had slammed it down towards the ground.

The energy spread out to the surroundings as it had exploded upon making contact with the hard ground.

"Argh!"

"Whoah!"

"What the!"

The people who were chasing behind Micah and Cleo did not have much time to respond before Pixel had gotten close to them so they were caught up in the blast.

Those closest to it had been blown away by the blast and had suffered the most damage as there were burns shown on their bodies.

If they were not already unconscious from coming into the high voltage of Electro then they were stuck paralysed on the ground in a lot of pain.

Pixel had been knocked up into the air by the blast and looked downward. "1..2..3..4.."

She began to pick up on how many were not within the range of the blast and quickly gathered more Electro around her body. "Chuuuu!"

A bolt of lightning had shot out from her body that was in the air and was sent towards one person that was below. "Guaaah!"

Pixel quickly shifted her attention once it had hit them and released another towards another direction. "Chuu!"

Using Thunder Shock, Pixel had continued to throw down effective Electro attacks that had hit the remaining enemies before she had landed back on the ground.

Her feet touched the ground and Pixel had walked over towards Micah. "What is going on?"

If there was anyone that knew more than her then it would be those that would have had similar experiences to herself or to question those involved.

Since the enemies were all not in a state to question, only Micah and Cleo were left.

Cleo had taken a little time to calm herself and spoke. "It happened too suddenly.. we barely avoided being caught up in an explosion and then we were chased. There were others from our homeland that were working with them."

Micah had added. "They are targeting each of us.. that much I know for sure."

He walked closer to Pixel and whispered. "You should be aware of how things were in our previous world. We may not have known it since we have lived on Zou but our tribe may be worth a lot to others."

In their previous world, it was a normal thing for them to want to escape from trainers and other bad organisations that would aim to use Pokémon for various purposes.

If there was some profit or additional gain to be had then they would chase a Pokémon to the ends of the earth before it was captured and would resort to using various bad methods to achieve that.

Micah was Meowth of Team Rocket so he had actively participated in many schemes to capture the Pokémon of the world using such methods and even went as far as stealing already owned Pokémon from others.

Pixel had known about Team Rocket due to her running into them at times while she had fended off the attempts to capture her from many others so she was well aware of what Micah was hinting towards.

Micah had leaned over and searched the bodies of the people before taking something out from a couple of them. "See? They may not have that kind of ability to capture us using those methods but this thing does look like some kind of restraining tool."

Pixel knit her brows. "A collar?"

Micah nodded. "It seems that we are quite valuable.."

Cleo had asked. "What do we do now?"

They had lived on Zou where there were no kind of practices that were shown on the surface that involved forced servitude or the selling of lives so they had all lived quite peacefully without knowing that the outside world could actually be quite cruel to them.

Their protective bubble had been broken and they had all been exposed to the darkness of the world at the young age of thirteen.

Micah had thought to himself and played around with the collar. "Hmm.. one moment. I need to confirm something."

He found one of the people that were lying down and lowered his body over them before opening the collar.

The collar was then placed around their neck and was closed as it was locked in place and had activated.

He started playing around with it and tugged at it a little until it had started to release a small repetitive noise that started to gradually increase the more time that had passed.

It was like the more noise created had meant that the timer was much closer and that it was dangerous for anyone to be around that person.

The time had run out but Micah had already stepped back to watch the collar suddenly explode while it was around the neck of the person. "So that is what it is. This makes things more difficult."
