Imagination

Robin had already started walking towards his dorm, knowing that his brother was inevitably going to follow him there, soon enough. And precisely because of this, he was not going to have even ten minutes of silence to himself; still, he was ready to take what he got, or else he was definitely going to say something out loud - while the reality was that he never ever wanted to think about it again!

He wanted to process all that had happened in the short span of that eventful morning, in addition to whatever was going inside in his own head. In order to accomplish all that, he was craving silence at the moment, so it would be a better option for him if he paused those thoughts at some point in his mind, and gave himself some space to relax before David intrude in his privacy and reminded him that he also did have a family, a family that he never want to be associated with.

A family which never really wanted him in the first place, but they were unable to deal with the wishes of fate… or say, the evilness of lust and cruelty of two wolves.

He did not get the chance to complete that thought either, when he heard a knock on his door and gave permission to enter, while thinking that it was extremely weird for David to have knocked on his door. But the very next moment, Myron's face popped in to clear all his doubts and he asked ;

"Yes, Myron? Please tell me you are not here because the Princess out there has gotten herself into some kind of a new unique and unseen, unheard, unimaginable problem once again!?"

"Alpha -"

"You know that I like it when you call me Robin, so keep it to Robin only!! And say, what is it? Because from my analysis, she should be in the car with her father right now -"

"Robin! I am not here because of Nora, but for you! Or… you could say that I am here for both of you."

Myron interrupted Robin to finally complete his sentence, but the moment he reached the end, Robin's breath hitched due to hearing the words clarifying that he was there for the two of them.

Just with this small bit of information, his brain started to take him to the weirdest places where every imagination of his had proven to be true and scary, because everyone had become aware of them.

The more the imagination of something or someone is in its crudest and purest form, the more it is found to be hidden deep inside our guts. Then, his imaginations regarding Nora were not only hidden, but had not even germinated yet, and he had gotten himself involved in more interaction with her in reality!

But were his actions truly a reflection of his thoughts; and if yes, then what was he supposed to do now? Because if this was the case, then Myron clearly seemed to know every detail about the matter, and was surely here to ask why he had cheated him in the first place. However, he genuinely had no idea how to deal with him right now!

His brain was just a hair's length away from achieving meltdown velocity, when the breaks were slammed as he heard Myron talking once again. Robin lifted his head to see Myron rubbing his nape with his right hand, trying to calm himself as he put his thoughts forward.

"Actually, I wanted to thank you for helping Nora, and not letting anyone get to know the situation -"

"Ah, it's alright! I would have done it for anyone, then she is a Princess. Even though she is a princess with whom I am supposed to show enmity, she still needs protection. And you know that although I am an Alpha, I am also the captain of the safety force of the school, so it was my duty -"

"I know, Robin. You do many things for the sake of duty, but you can't fool me this time. You helped her because you also see her as a friend, like she supposed you to be one!"

'Friend!' The word echoed in Robin's mind like a roar in the dense jungle : yes, he was a friend in Nora's eyes, and this was what she assumed him to be! Hence, this conclusion provided by Myron signalled the end of the discussion, and as a result, the thoughts he had just put on hold some minutes ago didn't need to be opened, detangled and understood! They could live there for as long as they wanted, and then once they were done living there, they could happily embrace the hall of shame and die gracefully there!

Satisfied with the way he had gotten rid of those pesky thoughts taking up space in his list of tasks to tackle, he had opened his mouth to say something in reply, when Myron began speaking again without noticing that he was unintentionally snubbing him.

"But I am here to talk about you and David as well. I know you love your brother more than you love anyone in this entire world, and the most important thing is that your brother loves you too! Then what is the problem that you are living here like a peasant in the Beta dorms, when you and I both know that these dorms are not worthy of you, will never be worthy of you! Why don't you go back to your palace, or to share the Alpha mansions with David? In any case, they are much bigger and suitable for two people to live in. Like, with that capacity, it can easily accommodate twenty people and still, each one will get much bigger space than the beta dorm -"

"Because I have my reasons, and I have one rule as well. I don't like to be naked from my soul in front of anyone, not even myself! This is the only way I like myself to be!

Complex, difficult to understand and black from the very soul. It is the best that suits me, and people recognise me, so I am very happy with my reality -"

"Which is only real in your eyes! Because apart from you, we all can see your reality and the soft heart you carry on your sleeve."

Robin stopped speaking and Myron turned with a jerk after hearing Nora's voice in the background.
