Puzzle

Ryan heard the sentence that was now out of Nora's mouth, and brought his hands over his head to ruffle his own hair that had been combed back neatly. The frustration was clear on his face while he was trying to make himself believe that whatever he had just heard was true. Because in the reality he was existing in till now, there was no chance of this statement being said by an Alpha - that too out of real and genuine concern, and not in the understandable fluency of sarcasm.

Meanwhile, Robin had busied himself in noticing the changes in Nora's complexion. He was also not aware of what was going on and why, but he could certify that he had personally encountered her face going from completely Scarlett to the shades of dark crimson, followed by the range of burgundy. And he was watching, unphased as if he was not seeing her face, but a colour palette which was changing its colour according to the anger she was holding.

But since the moment Ryan had stepped into their conversation seemingly out of nowhere, he had noticed a little glow in her eyes for a second. And then, he had stoody by to witness her face going to the shades of pink, and then repeating the process all over again. He was about to point it out after she was done talking, but before he could have gained the opportunity to utter a single word about this or anything else, he heard Ryan's voice ringing out in the silence left behind by Nora.

"So you wanted to help out the girl who is currently living in the dorm, even after the place has been allotted to you -"

Nora accepted Ryan's bid for confirming what he had interpreted as correct, and served the confirmation on a platter before he could finish the question.

"Umm, yes! I guess you are going on the right path now, that's exactly what I want."

Immediately, the smile was back on Ryan's face as if it had never left. With a casual shrug, he replied ;

"Okay then! What Nora wants, Nora will get! Now let's go, your father is waiting for you outside the girls' dorm."

Saying this, Ryan extended his hand towards Nora, and she also did the same unconsciously. She didn't know what was going on, what she was thinkin, what he was thinking or what anybody else was thinking about all this!

She didn't know anything at the moment, as the only thought that was running in her mind was an iteration of 'what Nora wants, Nora will get!'

She had never heard someone say this sentence in reference to her; even after knowing that she was a Princess and after reading hundreds of fairy tales, she had never been able to compare herself to any of the princesses out there… not even to the ones who perfectly fit into the criteria of a damsel in distress.

Nor to the ones who were not only born with a gleaming golden spoon in their mouth, but were also treated with sparkling diamonds throughout their lives! She did not find herself resembling any of them, nor had she been able to find any resemblance between herself and any normal girl out there.

And this had made her believe further, that she wasn't good enough for anybody- not for her parents, not for herself, and most importantly, not for being a Princess, because there was no trace of royalty in her life. In fact, everything that was shown to the world was just a mirage, created for the sole purpose of fooling the people out there.

But today, when Ryan finally told her that she would get whatever she wanted, she didn't know how the heart of a Princess which had been lying dormant in some dusty corner of her body, whose very existence she had forgotten about, started beating with the speed of a racing car- as if it was determined to win every single race it would encounter in its lifetime!

She felt her cheeks heating up, as the blood pressure suddenly started directing the rush of blood towards her face, making her look like a tomato instead of a girl or a wolf! She followed him to the place from where she had been dragged out by Robin just some minutes ago, and towards her new found home.

_______________

After Louis had disappeared from the scene, having walked off on the path that Nora had taken, David directed a disgusted look towards Valerie.

Only Moon Goddess knew what this girl was thinking before pulling all this chaos, because no matter how much he liked to bully the people around him, there were certain times when he also felt bad for them, albeit few and far between. And those moments arose when he knew that they were not only going to end up in a bad situation or one that was worse off than before, but they were already in the situation which the devil also feared to be in!

He wanted to get an entire background report of that girl, but before any of that, he wanted to see what Nora was doing. This girl was becoming a problem for him day by day, just by being that piece of a jigsaw puzzle which was not only missing from his life, but one that he had also tried to find for the first time in his life, instead of throwing out the entire puzzle.

He had realised that he needed to find that specific one, as it was not only bothering his mind and mental peace, but also his soul. He has not lost a piece of some puzzle regarding Nora, but a part of his own existence.

But before he could have concluded his thoughts and decided what he was supposed to do, he saw Frederick, Francisco and Carl arriving in front of the girl's dorm. And within a few minutes, Ryan went rushing in the same direction where Nora and everyone else had headed.

There was something fishy going on… something smelled very fishy, and he was going to find out what, very soon!
