Chapter 26. Naughty

Laura woke up early to get ready for work. Dressed in her usual way, she came out of her room and headed straight for the main door when she saw Jason sitting at the dining table eating breakfast. All she wanted to do was to go to work without seeing his face. She was still angry about what happened last night and they never spoke to each on their way back. When they got home Laura just went straight to her room after she came down from the car.

Seeing his face this early morning just makes her angrier. She knew that he won't let her walk out of the door without eating so, she slowly walked towards the dining table hoping to eat her meal in peace.

Jason chuckle when he saw her sitting down, with a grumpy face.

They both continued to eat in silence. After a while, Jason spoke up.

"I want you to clear my schedules for the next few days," Jason said to her.

"Why?" Laura asked with a confused expression.

"I'll be going out of the country for some business".

"What business? I didn't see any ....."

"Just do what I told you " Jason cuts her off

"Okey, so when are you leaving?"

"Today. And I want you to pack up your things, you'll be staying at my mom's till I'm back".

"Wait! What?". Laura was surprised. "I'm not going anywhere I'm staying here " Laura argue.

"Just pick your things, the driver will pick you up at work "

"Don't I have a say in it?" Laura asked him.

"No" came his short reply.

"Why does everyone think that I can't take care of myself? Why do you all keep pushing me around like some toy". Laura said almost in tears.

"That's not....". Jason tried to explain to her but she just walked out on him and went straight to her room.

Jason was angry with himself for making her cry but he has no choice, it was for her safety. He hits his hand on the table out of frustration. He wish he could make her understand.

Laura wipes her tears while she packs her things. She was angry at how she was being treated. When she was done, she just sat down on the edge bed looking exhausted. After a while she heard someone open the door she turn her head and saw Jason standing there.

"I'm already done packing if that's what you came to check". Laura said to him.

"Okay, I will drop you off at work before going to the airport "

Laura felt there was no need for him to do that, but knowing him, Laura just mumble to herself before going out with him.

"You can leave your bags here," Jason said to her when he saw her taking her things along. "Don't worry, Russ will take them there". He added.

"Is he not going with you?" Laura was confused.

"No. He has more important stuff to do here ".

"Okay," Laura said and left her things in the room.

They both got into the car, with Russ sitting in the passenger seat. The ride was a quiet one with Laura not knowing what to say to him. A few minutes ago, she didn't what to see his face but now all she wants to do is look at him for a bit longer.

The car finally stopped indicating that they have arrived. Laura was a bit reluctant to get out of the car. When Jason noticed her, he ordered Russ and the driver to get out of the car. Laura was surprised as to why he would do that. But her thought crumbled when she felt those hot lips against hers. Jason kissed her with so much hunger. Jason slowly pulled away from her when they were out of breath.

"Do you want me to stop?" It came out almost in a whisper.

"I think you should get going or I might have to bring you with me," he said against her lips.

"Take me with you," she said to him. Jason was tempted for a moment seeing how she looks and the pure hunger in her eyes.

With that Jason kissed her hard not ready to let her go. "I think I should go now. I can't believe we just had sex in a parking lot". Laura said while trying to arrange her clothes.

The drive to the airport was quiet with Jason staring at his iPad. This was not a new thing to Russ, but somehow it was overbearing to him that he mustered up to courage to let the cat out of the bag.

The rest of the ride was silent with Russ feeling embarrassed for bringing up the topic. Jason was lost in his thoughts, thinking about Laura and how he was going to make it up to her when he returns. He knew he had to keep her safe, but he also knew he couldn't stay away from her for too long.

As they arrived at the airport, Jason got out of the car and headed towards the entrance. Russ followed him, carrying his luggage.

"Take care of things while I'm gone," Jason said to Russ before heading towards the check-in counter.
