CHAPTER 12

The world seemed to be closing in on Peach at that very instant. She felt the axis turning on its accord, dragging her world into nothing. It was like the demons had come out in full force, pulling her angels away from her, in other to inflict pain on her already broken heart.

She released her father's hands from hers ever so slightly. The weight of his words were like a lid to her. It closed in on everything she may be feeling on the surface, and magnified itself a dreadful ten fold to a point where she couldn't even see the people in front of her.

She was aware of her father trying to hold her, but not exactly succeeding in doing so. Peach felt her oxygen supply had been cutoff, leaving her feeling alone and suffocated. She steeled herself not to cry to no avail, for a lone tear glided her cheeks to her chin against her will. Damn it! She hated shattering like this.

"Peach," Jake called out in panic.
