CHAPTER Twelve

I woke to the sound of an alarm. What the hell Why do I have an alarm going off I don’t need one this morning. I went to reach for my phone to turn it off, realizing it wasn’t even my phone. That made me confused until I remembered I was not at home, and I was not alone. I was at Ryland’s and sharing his bed. I honestly thought I would freak when I woke up, but I wasn’t freaking at all. I have not slept that great in a long time.

“Ryland, why have you got an alarm set” I groaned, pushing him.

“Because I needed it to wake us up before my mom came in,” he laughed.

“Darn! I forgot about that,” I said, panicking, “Should I hide in the bathroom or the closet or something” I added, looking around.

“No, she will only come and check on me for a second, just hide under the covers,” he said.

“How do you know when she will come in” I asked.
