CHAPTER Twenty-Nine

  Gracie

I was sitting with Lola at the café, having a coffee. There was a reason I suggested coffee, the reason being I needed some girl talk.

“Lola, can I ask you something” I asked.

“Sure you can. What is on your mind” she smiled.

“How did you know when you were ready to have sex for the first time” I whispered as I didn’t want the people in the café hearing what we were talking about.

“Honestly, Gracie, I don’t think I was ready for my first time,” she said, her voice somewhat sad, “I thought I was, but looking back, I wasn’t. I wish Ben would have been my first,” she said in a low voice.

Lola was fifteen when she lost her virginity. She was dating some douche bag, and she honestly thought he loved her. It turned out he didn’t. In return, he got a punch in the face from her.

“Do you regret having sex, or do you just mean having it with the wrong person” I asked.
