CHAPTER 95

I started from when she showed up, sharing every detail with her, right up until she left.

“The bitch is crazy! She had no right coming here or getting our address without permission.” Gracie shook her head.

  “Yes, she is,” I agreed.

“Screw her! She isn’t worth thinking about or stressing over.” Gracie was firm with every word.

I nodded and kissed her softly, “No, she isn’t. Dinner won’t be long if you want to put your things away and help me set up”

“Sure. Be back in a few.” Gracie replied, pecking my lips and headed off.

She didn’t seem too mad or upset, which is good because I didn’t want Daisy ruining our night. I turned everything off, not wanting to burn my “concoctions” I had grown to love cooking, and maybe if the Law thing didn’t work out for me, it was something else for me to look into.

“Right, I am here to help, even though you have done all the hard work.” Gracie laughed.
