I woke with someone bouncing up and down on the bed: Gracie, I assumed.
“Time to wake up! Happy first day of your new job.” Yes, definitely Gracie. Who else would it be I can’t see Ben jumping up and down on my bed; that would be weird.
“Is it that time already” I asked.
“No. I woke you up an hour earlier so I could take you for breakfast before your first day.” She beamed.
A part of me wanted to complain and fall back over for another hour, but, on the other hand, I found it sweet that Gracie woke me up so she could take me out.
It was my first day working for Peter, well, starting my training. I wasexcited but nervous about it; terrified I would mess up and let him down.
“You are lucky I love you, kitten! Waking me up at six o’clock” I chuckled.
She stopped bouncing and sat down on my stomach, “How are you feeling about your first day, my love” she asked softly. I rested my hands on her hips.
