I had a free hour before my next class, and I was alone. Everyone, the others, were having their lectures, and Ryland was working since he had no classes today. Still, I had decided to take advantage of my break. It was a lovely day, so I decided to sit outside under a large oak tree and read with an iced coffee. The last couple of weeks were hectic and stressful. I had struggled with the workload, but I kept pushing myself because I was determined. It has only been a few weeks since classes started, so I was still adjusting.
I closed my eyes, drawing in my breath, enjoying the fresh air and the chance to do nothing. Once I relaxed myself, I opened my book to the page where I stopped last night. I did have some studying to do, but I would leave it until I got home tonight because I needed a breather.
