　　I didn’t even need to think about it, “I would love it!” The tears started again, and I jumped to my feet to rush over and hug my dad and Ashley, “Thank you. You don’t know how much being wanted means to me.” I sobbed.


　　“We are a family, angel, and I hope this will help us make up for the time I wasn’t around. I am so proud and happy to call myself your father, Gracie, and I swear I will be the best one I can be for you because it is what you deserve,” Dad was as emotional as I was.

　　“Everything is ready. All you need to do is sign right here, sweetie.” Ashley smiled, handing me the pen I used to sign my chains away“Next step: changing your birth certificate, and everything should be put in place soon,” Dad beamed.
