Peter
I walked Gracie to work before I headed back to the office for a few hours before hometime. I was still enraged with what happened, and I wanted nothing more than to go back to campus, find the little shit and wring his neck! But I knew better; there were many other ways to deal with little assholes such as him that didn’t involve violence which were just as effective if not more. There was no way in hell I was letting him get away with hurting my daughter. She had been hurt enough at the hands of men, and if he thought he was going to get away with it, he was undoubtedly mistaken.
“Thank you for spending the afternoon with me and for the money,” she smiled, kissing my cheek.
“The pleasure was all mine. I have missed you,” we haven’t had much time together recently.
“I have missed you too,” she pouted.
I pulled her for a hug, stroking her hair, “You should all come by for dinner this weekend.” I knew Ashley and the kids were eager to see Gracie too.
