CHAPTER 9

My body hurt and I can't move. It felt like my body has been buried six feet under the snow and the coldness biting into my skin.

I hiss as I rolled to my side and groaned when the pain hits harder. I closed my eyes and took in deep breaths then pulled myself in a sitting position.

I blinded the tears that had gathered around my eyes and wait for the pain to subside.

The dream felt real... So fucking real to the point that I could feel it even when I woke up. I raised my hand to the nightstand and turned on the lamp. I gasped when I saw the small cuts from the tip of my fingers to my arm.

I looked over the other parts of my body and my eyes widen when everyone single skin were covered in fresh cuts that leaked blood. I swallowed and looked around scared shitless for my life.

Fearfully and with shaky hands, I brought my hand to the wall and turned on the light. I released a sigh of relief when I looked around and saw that no one was watching.
