CHAPTER 29

It feels so weird having to ride with Micah on a horse like this-with his right hand placed on my waist while the other, holding the rope of the horse. It has been more than an hour since our intense love making and I was quite tired so I leaned back and rested my head on Micah's shoulder.

Micah had asked about the woman who attacked me at the lake and when I described her to him and told him about the dream I had while he was away, he only clenched his fist and jaw and when I asked if he knew her, he said nothing but I suspected she was the one who sent the man to Kill Micah when I first got to the castle.

"When are we getting there?" I questioned, moving my eyes up to look up at him and I couldn't help but admire his straight jawline. I was already growing tired of this Journey that did not seem to want to end.
