After dinner Lin Yan tucked Li Xiao in her bed and kiss her forehead as she whispered"Good night my baby." As she left Li Xiao room she saw Li Lingyun waiting for her.

"For the first time since she was born I wasn't the one who tucked her in." Li Lingyun said as he saw Shen Yi coming out of his daughter room.

"Sorry for taking your place, I just wanted to do it, I thought it would make her more happy." Lin Yan replied.

"Even at that I am happy, as long as Li Xiao is happy then I am also happy." Li Lingyun said. He walked closer to Shen Yi and said "I know you hate me but thank you."

"I should be the one saying thank you after all it is you who is giving me a second chance." Lin Yan said. Looking at Li Lingyun handsome face she wondered why Shen Yi did not fall in love with him. He did not look as scary as he had been portrayed as, except if he was angry. Even though he was Li Jun uncle he was only thirty-two years old. Li Jun had always hated the fact that he had to called Li Lingyun uncle when Li Lingyun was just eight years older than him.

"As long as you behave yourself then we will have no issue." Li Lingyun said. Just then Lin Yan phone rang and Li Lingyun face turned colder as he saw the caller ID.

Lin Yan glance at her phone and wondered who was calling her, just before she could answer she heard a dangerous voice saying "Remember our deal as long as we are married you are not allowed to cross your limit."

"What?" Why was he suddenly speaking to her like that, Wait! Li Jun once told her that there is a possibility of Shen Yi having a affair, she looked at the caller ID and wondered if that person was this Mu Chen that was calling her. From the way Li Lingyun was reacting Lin Yan had a big suspicious that Shen Yi lover was Mu Chen.

"Answer the call, he might need you for something, maybe to sponsor one of his movie project."

Lin Yan could hear pure scarsm from those words, she wanted this man to trust her but suddenly cutting ties with the man she have an affair with till now would be strange, so under Li Lingyun watchful gaze, Lin Yan pressed the answer button and said "Hello" while looking straight into the eyes of Li Lingyun.

"Thank goodness, so sorry I have not been able to come and visit you. Are you alright now?" Lin Yan could hear the concern from his voice but she was not move, she sigh and said "Yes, I am fine. It was just a scratch so there is no need to worry about me and besides Li Lingyun is here to take care of me."

"Li Lingyun? Why would he take care of you?" Mu Chen asked. He was confused on why Shen Yi would even mention that man name. She have always hated him, even the mention of his name disgusted her.

"I will talk to you later, I really feel sleepy now, good night." Lin Yan hanged up and kept staring at Li Lingyun, she wondered what was going on his head.

"Didn't you say you were feelingl sleepy, go to bed."

Lin Yan was quite for a brief seconds before nodding her head. She was indeed tired, as she was about to leave Li Lingyun said "Tomorrow is the weekends, will you follow me and Li Xiao to the old house or are you too sick to come this time again.

Being sick must have been the excuse Shen Yi have been using to stop herself from going to the old mansion, but this time it is different, even Li Jun would be there, how can she miss this opportunity.

"Yes, I will be there this time." Lin Yan said, then she left .

Li Lingyun sighed and said to himself "I really need a smoke."

Once again it was the weekends and every one who have the Li attached to their names were all to gathered at the old mansion house for breakfast. Unlike last time, the old master Li have forbidden everyone from leaving until the weekend was over and that includes Li Lingyun.

The people gathered were Old Master Li Li Qiu, Li Rui, Wang Hua, Li Lingyun and Lin Yan

And that was how everyone was gathered at the table as breakfast was served. Lin Yan who sat down beside Li Lingyun looked at the empty seat met for Li Jun.

"Why is your son not here yet?" Li Qiu asked coldly as he looked at Wang Hua.

Wang Hua smiled and said "You know Li Jun have been working hard ever since he joined the Li corporation as the vice president, perhaps he is just tidying up something's." What she was actually implying was that Li Jun work harder for the company than Li Lingyun

"If the president is not too busy to attend a family meeting then why should the vice president be and if your son is too busy to the point that he ignores his family then we should just give him something else to do." Old master Li said.

Lin Yan smiled, it was no secret and even the old man has never hidden the fact of how much he loved Li Lingyun more than the rest of his family.

"If your son is not here in the next three minutes then I will remove him from his position as the vice president so that he will be less busy to have time for his family."

"What? You can't do that. Lin Yan just died, he needs the distraction."

"I am very sure that his mistress is there to distract him very well. Your son not only disappointed me but he almost tarnished this family name which is something I will never accept." Then he looked at Li Qiu and said "Not only is your son a disappointment even your grandson is worthless, it's a good thing I have my precious Xiao which someone did not bring."

Li Lingyun smiled as he noticed it was his turned to get a bite of his grandfather bad mood "Old master Li, your precious Xiao is not use to waking up early and given the fact that you threatened to disown anyone who comes late, I wanted to save myself."

"Yes, I left your granddaughter but don't worry she will be here by noon, I have ask Gu Wei to take care of it. Why are you in a bad mood so early?"

This was the first time she was seeing it, but Li Jun have once told her that it was only Li Lingyun that could talk to the old master casually.

Old master Li sneered and turned his gazed to Shen Yi and he said "Why aren't you sick today."

"Wishing for your granddaughter in law to be sick is not really a good thing." Lin Yan replied.

"What?" Old master was already irritated with what was happening around his family after Lin Yan death and now this brat was talking back at him.

"This is the generation we are in grandpa, the younger ones now speak rudely to the older ones." Wang Hua said.

Lin Yan smiled and looked and said casually "All that talk made me hungry, three minutes is already over, why must my grandpa be hungry because of your son."

At this moment she looked like a filial daughter-in-law, but they all knew it was a reminder at what Old master Li said but just then, Li Jun came in but not alone, Fang Min and a little girl who was five years old came together with him.

Seeing this scene made Lin Yan to clench her fist under the table, everyone was waiting for what Old master Li would say, but the truth was they all expected him to drive Fang Min and her daughter away but instead he looked at the bulter behind him and said "Prepare another table for our guests."

"This is the generation we are in sister-in-law, where Mistresses think they own the house just because they either have a child or is currently pregnant." Lin Yan said as she looked directly at Wang Hua who was currently frowning after hearing her words.
