Don't Get Curious About Li Jun

Li Lingyun who was asleep felt as if someone was jumping on his bed and then he heard his daughter excited voice as she said "Daddy wake up, wake up."

Li Lingyun felt a small fist hitting him and a little voice demanding he wakes up. He held the small hands on his chest and opened his eyes.

"Daddy wake up, wake up." Li Xiao shouted when she saw that her dad opened eyes.

Li Lingyun pulled his daughter closer to him and hugged her little body as he asked "Why are you up so early?"

Li Xiao giggle and said "It is Li Xiao first day at school, I can't be late."

First day at school? I can't believe I forgot my own daughter first day? Li Lingyun sighed and looked at Li Xiao and said "But Li Xiao is not even ready. And have you woken up your mum."

"I can't wake mummy because she might get angry."

"But you were able to wake me? Were you not afraid that I would get angry?" Li Lingyun asked as he looked at his daughter with disbelief, but with a smile in his eyes.

Li Xiao pouted and hid her face in her father's chest.

Li Lingyun chuckled at his daughter behavior and said "Go ask the maid to bath you and change you into your school uniform. I will take you to school."

Li Xiao then asked with a sad smile "Can't mummy take me to school?"

Li Lingyun smiled when he thought of Shen Yi and said "Why don't we ask her? But first that go bath and change into your uniform."

"Ok daddy." Li Xiao was about to leave the bed when Li Lingyun held her hand and ask "What about my kiss."

Li Xiao kissed her dad on his cheek and went out to meet one of the maids to help her bath and change into her uniform.

After getting dressed, Li Lingyun went to Shen Yi room and entered when she told him to come in. He actually thought she would still be sleeping by now, after all it is so early in the morning.

When he opened the door, he saw her already dressed in a flowery gown, with her long black hair tied in a pony tail. Shen Yi was only twenty three years old but the way she was dressed made her looked like an eighteen years old girl and that moment Li Lingyun thought that perhaps he actually caged Shen Yi through this marriage.

Lin Yan noticed that Li Lingyun was just staring at her without saying anything so she asked "Why aren't you saying anything?"

"I didn't realize you will be up so early."

"Of course I have to be. Today is Li Xiao first day at school. She would make a wrong impression if she is late at school."

"So you remembered?"

Lin Yan frowned at Li Lingyun question and asked "Why won't I remember? I was the one who registered her into the school, so why would I forget about her first day."

"Li Xiao wants you to be the one who will take her to school. Can you do it?"

"Why do you think I am dressed? Of course it is to take her to school. You can attend to your work without worries, I will take care of Li Xiao."

Li Lingyun smiled and asked "But didn't you promise to take care of me."

Lin Yan thought he was dressed for work, so she added that last part so that he wouldn't worry about his daughter she never expected for his reply to leave her speechless. Lin Yan sighed and said "Ensure you have your breakfast before going to work and I will call you in the afternoon to make sure you have eaten your lunch and not over working yourself. Is that alright with you?"

Li Lingyun behaved as if he was thinking about the question intensely and said "Yes"

Lin Yan sighed and asked "Will Li Xiao really be alright at that school? I mean Fang Mei would also be there."

"You don't have to worry about that. Fang Mei will not harm Li Xiao and besides they will be in different classes."

Lin Yan felt convince and nodded but there was something else she wanted to know, she looked at Li Lingyun and asked "Is Li Jun suspension over?"

Li Lingyun narrowed his eyes and asked "Why are you interested in knowing that?"

"I just felt curious."

Li Lingyun looked at Shen Yi silently for a few seconds before saying "Don't get curious about Li Jun, you wouldn't like the things you are going to find out and to answer your question, his suspension ended yesterday so he will be resuming work today. I am going to check on Li Xiao."

When Lin Yan came downstairs, Li Xiao immediately ran to her and said "Mummy, will you really take me to school?"

Lin Yan could see the excitement in the child eyes and said "Yes."

"Gu Wei will drive you both to the school."

"There is no need for that. I can drive." Lin Yan said, she saw the refusal and hesitation in Li Lingyun eyes and said "I will be careful and besides I'm not drunk. I won't drive a car with your daughter on it if drunk, ok?"

"You won't drive a car at all if drunk, whether Li Xiao is on it or not."

Lin Yan smiled and asked "Are you caring about me right now? Don't, I don't need it." Then she looked at Li Xiao and held out her hands for the little girl to hold as she said "Let's go to school."

Li Xiao could feel a little tension between her parents but she chose to ignored it, after all there was still enough time to bring them together. She happily held her mother's hand and wave goodbye to her dad.

Gu Wei who have been standing beside Li Lingyun said "Young miss seem so happy that her mother would be the one taking her to school."

Li Lingyun ignored Gu Wei comment and said "Let's go."

Imperial Academy was a big and beautiful school. It has highly qualified teachers, a cafeteria and of course a play ground.

There were teachers in front of the school gate, who will lead the children to their classroom.

Li Xiao who was excited about going to school at first, felt like crying, she have never stay away from her dad.

Lin Yan who noticed Li Xiao sad expression, bend down to her level and said "My Li Xiao is already a big girl. If you are a good girl then mummy will also pick you up from school." Li Xiao got excited, she kissed her mother goodbye and followed the teacher but before the teacher could leave with Li Xiao, Lin Yan smiled at the teacher and said "Please take care of her for me."

"Yes, I will." The teacher reply with a smile on her face.

After Li Xiao have completely left her sight, Lin Yan who was about to leave as well heard a very familiar voice saying "Since Li Xiao have started attending this school, I think it would be better if the both of us become friends. Don't you think the same."
