I give death to those who don't kneel

The Death Knight rampaged through supposed knights who attacked the human village. Slicing one after another, the undead led out a roar which horrified both knight and villager.

Teleporting in front of another knight, the undead sliced him with its gigantic black sword as gallons worth of blood spewed out of the now dead knight's body.

Turning around, the undead met eyes with a man who was terrified to his heart. From behind a knight attacked, in hopes of damaging the undead but his sword shattered into pieces as his weapon met with the undead's skeletal form. In response to the attack, the undead turned around and killed the man, instantly.

One of the knights further from the undead muttered something underneath his breath.

"It doesn't raise its sword to anyone who doesn't run? It doesn't even see us as worthy warriors."

Other knights began to shout.

"God save us!/Have mercy upon your servants./Abomination!"

Suddenly, the same man that looked the undead in the face screamed.

"B-Bastards! Take that damn abomination down! This isn't the place where I should die! Buy me some time! Be useful for once in your peasant lives!"

"Chief Belius."

Taking a step back, Belius saw one of his subordinates on the ground, his blood creating a pool around his body. The undead now had its sights on Belius, and he was terrified.

"MONEY! I'll give you money! 200 gold pieces! No, 500! A thou-thousand!"

Then out of nowhere a hand took its grip on his leg. He checked who or what it was as it was the same dead body he had just walked upon a second ago, seeing the now corporeal face of the body. Belius screamed from fright and passed out. As his body laid there, the undead knight pushed its sword into Belius' chest, over and over again.

"SAVE ME! I'Ll give you monnnnneeeeeeeyyy... "

Belius tried to scream for his life but none of it meant anything to the undead knight that forced its weapon into his ribs at the very moment.

Many of the knights called out to God for forgiveness and repentance, some even saying that the End Times were here but the same knight who muttered Belius' name came forth to try and overcome the undead.

"Listen up! We shall retreat immediately. Once I give the signal, call the horseback archers! The others will buy us time! Begin!"

As he said that, his fellow knights prepared themselves for a fight for their lives. But it was in vain, the Death Knight wasn't called a Death Knight for no miniscule reason, it was called that because of its tenacity for death and murder.

The same knight who rallied his fellow men, now had his head rolling on the ground, as the fight reached its climax, a sudden voice shouted.

"Death Knight! Your duty has been fulfilled, you have done enough."

In the air, floated 4 figures, two feminine and two masculine. Both males had auras of regality and power, maybe even that of divinity. The women had armors of dark colors with weapons gigantic in proportions.

The four now landed on the ground, their features now more easily to determine. A man with staff that glowed a bright green stepped forward, while the man who most likely had command over the undead, wore robes with his face hidden with a mask of made or red material with green paint on it as the eyes were painted blue, his hands were hidden with gloves.

"It is very nice to meet you all. I am Mephet'ran and my friend here, is Ainz Ooal Gown."

His form was that of steel-plating, wherever you looked, there was armor or metal on it, his face was covered in metal as well, most likely a helmet of sorts but his cheeks were open to see and one could find razor sharp teeth behind the helmet, most likely this man had deformities or maybe even an incurable sickness like that of Leprosy.

On his chest was a symbol of sorts, most likely a family crest or a coat of arms of sorts, the villagers had never seen the symbol in their lives before but today it would be a form of hope and safety.

"As my friend has stated, my name is Ainz Ooal Gown. I shall allow you to run off to tell your superi- your owner of this! But if you ever return to these lands and cause trouble, I will bring death to whatever kingdom you swear fealty to."

"Now go! Tell everyone of our names. It is time for the world to know who is at the top."

As Mephet finished speaking, the knights ran, leaving their swords and shield behind.

"Acting is hard work."

"Need any help?"

"No thank you, Zyn."

Suddenly a voice called out to them.

"You..."

Ainz and Mephet turned to the location where the voice was, it was from a man with the villagers.

"Wh-Who are you, sirs?"

"Well, we are a group that have come from... Nowhere. We saw this village being attacked and sought to save it in the name of our morals."

Szrazyn answered as the villagers' former anxious and confused looks turned to relief and even smiles of joy.

"Now, you are all safe. We wish for you to be at ease."

The villagers were still frightened at the sight of the Death Knight, in an attempt of easing tensions, Ainz spoke.

"However, it wasn't for free. I wish to precure a few objects for the betterment of Mephet'ran's and I's goals."

"What was that for?"

"So, I can lower the suspicions of us if they think we're doing this for commercial gain."

"I see. The sisters will not be a problem whatsoever. Actually, they'll be a great addition as subjects of ours. So stop making it a problem."

"How did you- You know what, never mind. You always know if I have problems, Zyn. That scares me."

* Time Skip *

Ainz and Szrazyn had asked for money and information but the village chief said that with the recent attack, money was nothing but a dream for them for now. Though money wasn't what they were after, it was information.

The village chief and his wife believed their story of being warriors and mages who had secluded themselves in the name of research and training, knowing nothing of the current world, Ainz and Szrazyn easily acquired the information they wanted.

Yggdrasil coins were useless, couldn't be used but being gold, they still had their worth but the danger of showing it around the world with the possibility of other players finding them and attacking the Guild was too much of a risk to even consider.

Next were the civilizations that inhabited the world. This village, Carne Village, and Nazarick, are inside the Re-Estize Kingdom which was west of the Great Mountain Range.

East of the mountains is the Baharuth Empire, the political scene between the two can easily be seen as the Empire raids the kingdom's villages each year and even battles are often fought in the plains that are near the capital city, E-Rantel.

South of both of the nations is the Slane Theocracy, based upon the crests that the raiding knights had on their shields and armor, the chief assumed that the Empire were behind the raid of the village but the possibility of the Theocracy formulating this event to trigger a war of raise tensions even further between the two nations.

"Is something the matter?"

"No, nothing, please continue."

"Y-Yes, the closest city to us is E-Rantel. Goblins, orcs, and ogres appear around the area, but adventurers hunt them so the path to the city should be relatively safe.

Suddenly, Mephet joined the conversation.

"Adventurers, you say?"

"They are people who kill monsters in exchange of rewards. There is a guild in E-Rantel where you could request for their services."

"A guild of adventurer's? This world has gotten far more interesting."

"What is the population of E-Rantel?"

"I am terribly sorry but I do not have any numbers on the city's population."

"I think we need to live in a city for a bit to find out."

"I've been wanting to try the adventurer's life for a long time. I'll be the first to go out."

* Village Grave *

The villagers all stood or knelt in front of graves, many cried and wept while others kept silence, the sorrow and even guilt inside of them, beating them down, forcing them to stand still and say nothing.

At the sidelines, Ainz and Szrazyn stood, Ainz holding the wand of resurrection, wanting to revive the dead for the village but Szrazyn told him not to, a magic caster that can manipulate the dead to servitude and revive them back to life shouldn't exist. They would just have to be satisfied that the village was saved in time.

* Time Skip *

The villagers were now rebuilding what was destroyed, helping each other and giving a hand to those who needed it. Ainz and Szrazyn walked down the road. With this, the story of Ainz Ooal Gown saving the village will spread.

"If there are other players around, I want to help them."

"Just in the hopes so we won't be attacked."

"But in all honesty, I really do wish to assist the people who were transported here."

"Well, if there was a player who went against us, I have a card that not even the World Eater can hold a candle to me."

"And what card is that, that the strongest boss monster won't be able to hold a candle to you?"

"That is a surprise for another time."

"We need to create a spy network or take on the guises of merchants or adventurers for information."

His friend suddenly frantically laughed, as if he was forced to laugh, but he then stopped.

"I am already ahead of you, my friend. I've created several wraiths to work as our agents, I've already relayed the information and capitals of the nations closest to us. Once we expand our influence, the network itself shall expand to the other nations of the world."

"I'm glad you joined the guild."

"Heh. You wouldn't have the power you have without me."

The clear insult hurt Ainz but Szrazyn immediately laughed and said that it was a joke. Ainz and Szrazyn then stopped walking, Aurea and Albedo stopped as well, preparing to do whatever order their lieges would give them.

"Our business here is complete. Let us withdraw. Zyn?"

Szrazyn then looked at the working humans, a small hatred formulating in his mind, he wondered. Why was he starting to hate everything human? Was it because of the possibility that humans were created or influenced by the Old Ones?

That was a large possibility yet he didn't have any hatred for the twins, they were elves but they were also creations of his friends, continuing to have sextillions of thoughts in his mind be created with each passing microsecond.

Suddenly, the voice of his friend called out to him.

"Zyn."

"Yes?"

"Are you alright?"

"Humans."

"Humans? What do you mean?"

Fearing of leaking valuable information, Szrazyn telepathically spoke with Ainz.

"I do not know how or why, but I have a hatred for humans."

"What?! How?! You were human!"

"That may be so but being inside these non-human bodies affects our mental thinking. For you, you cannot feel extreme amounts of hatred, happiness or joy, as we've seen before, a strange power is stopping you from feeling too much of some emotions."

"That's true but what does it have to do with you hating humans?"

"With our minds being integrated to adapt with our new bodies, it also means our personalities and way of thinking shall change."

"Let me get this straight. You mean we are being slowly forced to become our characters?"

"Short Answer, yes.

Long Answer. Our races determines how strong the integration is, so hypothetically, if you were a strong human with that only race then being transported here means the integration process will not be needed, the only thing you have to do at that point is to learn how to cast magic and fight like how your character did.

Unfortunately for the both of us, we chose races that transcend humankind, far more grievous news is that my race is that of an alien that has been made into a hybrid with a star-feasting God of space."

"I don't know how to comprehend that."

"You won't need to, if the integration period is finished, your personality won't utterly be destroyed but mine... I don't know what will happen to me."

"Don't worry. I'll be here with you, if you need my help, you only need to ask."

"Haha, thank you."

Out of curiosity and to prepare for future conflicts with humans, Szrazyn asked Albedo.

"Albedo."

"Yes, Lord Szrazyn?"

"What do you think of humans?"

Immediately, Albedo answered her lord's question. Her answer would scare Ainz while Szrazyn saw it fair to hear her answer.

"They are insects meant to only used for labor. Weaker, lower life forms, so weak that a single hit will crush them. I find it pleasing to see humans be crushed to a pulp."

"I will not change your ideas on humans but I wish for you to show a little kindness and patience with humans.

They may be small and weak but with some biomancy and magic, they can become the largest army that wields over a million worlds in the galaxy, for that is the human race that can and will become.

A race of scientists and inventors that create the greatest of machines and the deadliest of weapons."

"Yes, Lord Szrazyn."

"Never underestimate humans. Not all of them are weak, one of the strongest living humans is right next to you."

"Yes, Lord Szrazyn. I shall strive to meet your expectations."

Looking forward, Szrazyn could see a villager speaking with the Chief.

"What do we do, Chief?"

"Are there any ideas?"

Szrazyn walked forward.

"Is there something wrong, Village Chief?"

"Oh! Lord Mephet. It seems some men on horseback are heading for the village."

"I see. Well, have all of the women and children gather at your house with the men keeping watch outside. We shall meet these men and see if they are friends or foes."

"Y-Yes! Immediately."

* Village Square *

Dozens of men on horses were riding to the square. Szrazyn and Ainz were there with Aurea, Albedo and the chief. Waiting to see if these men were enemies or not. A man on horseback strode in front of them.

"I am the Chief Royal Warrior of the Re-Estize Kingdom, Gazed Stronoff. I have received orders from the King to hunt down knights of the Empire that have been pillaging the villages."

"Royal Head Warrior... "

"You must be the chief of this village, who are these people with you?"

"These gentlemen are-"

"Do not worry. It is good to meet you, Royal Head Warrior. My name is Ainz Ooal Gown and this is- "

"I am Mephet'ran. A swordsman with Ainz being a magic caster."

"We came here to assist the town in its defence."

Gazef then dismounted his steed.

"I thank you for saving this village. Words cannot say how much gratitude I wish to show."

Then, a soldier who was accompanying the Head Warrior called him out.

"Head Warrior! Unknown figures have been spotted around the village. They are approaching as we speak!"

"This has gotten far more interesting than first thought."
