The Bride

At midnight I am laying on the bed looking at my ceiling but all I could think of was, Aiden.

"If that is how you want to play it! I will leave, but Emma…" I tossed to my right side facing the wall, "every time you are walking on the street or anywhere doing your daily routine, who knows you might get lucky to see me regularly, feeling my presence everywhere."

I close my eyes and press them hard but still I just can't stop thinking about his words. "Peek through your shoulder, because I might be there or maybe not."

I sit up holding my head tightly with my hands and sigh. "Stop getting into my head Aiden."

I massage my head trying to release some tension but nothing really helps at this point. The more I want to stay away from him the more he's getting into my life, my head and my heart. I lay back down after more tossing and turning. I eventually got to sleep.
